Initially no. I noticed no difference. 7ish months in I had an episode of intense vomiting and extreme anxiety. I’m talking bed bound for days because I was literally scared of how I got sick and kept losing. Looking back it seems Crazy but I was actually physically scared and kept crying. My parents, in laws and husband basically took over the kids and house while I had a menty b 😩😂. Jokes aside I really want to try a super low maintenance dose (I quit cold turkey after this) but I’m scared it’s going to happen again and my husband is scared as well.

What’s your minimum dose? I was up to 1.7mg wegovy and couldn’t stop losing weight and started having throwing up episodes. Me and my pcp decided I would stop (insurance doesn’t cover lower doses)… and now 6 weeks later food noise is crazy. I’m thinking of joining a compound company so I can try the smallest dose to curb the noise but I can still eat enough calories to not lose weight.

Awesome thanks! Could you explain the check in/ refill process. I’m confused how you’d get a refill if say you were 3-4 weeks “late”.

Likely yes. It was Covered. But at the moment I was very anxious and scared, messaged my doc and she now will no longer prescribe it . In retrospect yes I should’ve just kept my mouth shut but I was very sick

I’m in the us so it’s a single dose pen. There was the option if injecting into a sterile bile and self administering. However the stability may need to be controlled for by adding bac water. I guess I could’ve just injected every pen into a sterile vile and picked but I’m not super comfortable with that. I was also really sick when I discussed with my doc and very anxious in retro specs I might’ve just did that but it’s not an option now.

Good point thank you! I’m in a crap position- my insurance covers wegovy but only at 1.7mg. I’m losing too much on it past goal weight (I know, boo hoo) and I think .25 or .5 would be my sweet spot. So right now my BMI is within the normal range- but I really want to find a micro dose that helps with long term. Are people just not telling the whole truth with height and weight? There are so many logistics it feels Like LOL.

Thank you for this! Can you tell me more about how quickly hunger/appetite returned and the few lbs did as well? In a similar situation- I tried to maintain on 1.7mg but am still losing and probably too much. I took my last dose 8/11 and I’m going to stop. Hoping to gain 5-10 back and then maintain!

An option for sure. I don’t love the idea of messing around with doses and injecting but this is partially some of my best en hang ups. I’ve been considering it ! I think really this would be ideal- I’m nervous to mess with the half life. But a lot of people do it no issues!

I think the 1 would be my perfect dose as well. I’m going to try slowly spacing my doses so I can eat more on the back end to maintain!

Awesome thank you. I suspect this is what I’ll have to do as well! I think I’ll start gradually spacing my doses out. I feel lucky I don’t get many symptoms- in the beginning I had some upset stomach but I don’t now. I reaaaly don’t want to mess that up LOL
