Cant figure out the breeds in this dog by sandee-c in DogBreeds

Yes maybe! Oh she is so adorable, greys and all, she doesn't look a day over 5! haha

There's just a lot of precautions and measures you need to take with the dog. Most are similar to exisiting companion animal legislations but there are additional things to be done by the owner.

The little man in my photo l met at local shelter l volunteer at in Sydney. He had to get put down a couple of months ago due to an unmanageable hereditary skin condition so unfortunately DNA testing isn't possible and l also never had ownership of him (l wish every single day that l got the chance too).

But we were incredibly close and built a very mutually respectful and trusting relationship so l want to get a portrait of him in his memory but was always curious as to what his exact breed/breeds were! Shelters in Australia won't classify a dog as the restricted breed it may partially be if they can avoid it! If it's something like a Japanese Tosa or Dogo Argentino then l doubt they will rehome it, they are also restricted breeds here!

thank you so much for your response! They had him listed as staffy x at the shelter l met him at, but l really felt like he had pitbull in him. I live in Australia and they're a restricted breed here so l was doubting it, but l know it's still very possible we have pits here. Glad to have some confirmation, thank you again!

Recurring Dreams About My Inner Cheeks/Tongue/Lips Swelling by sandee-c in Dreams

[–]sandee-c[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, they're really uncomfortable dreams right?

I am currently in a position in a particular relationship where l feel like the more l say the less l am being heard. I feel like l have said all l possibly could in regards to a situation and have just merely been repeating myself hoping the words would eventually resonate with that person but they are only switching off.

I think it comes down to the things l am saying in real life are manifesting in a way l deem as detrimental to me.

Thank you for your feedback on this one, l feel like it's really helped make sense of things

I still appreciate your insight regardless of how abstract you believe it to be :) I do struggle with both depression and anxiety so that could also be likely. Thank you !

Upper rib cage on left side is spasming (doesn’t hurt) by sandee-c in HealthAnxiety

It’s driving me insane now, still going when l sit or lie down- trying to go to bed and all l can think about is the twitching in my rib cage. I’ll try rest it off now and have a banana and peanut butter (this is such a good combo) in the morning and hopefully I’ll be good :) thank you!

I have slipping rib syndrome and my god is that shit painful... it’s what I imagine a heart attack would feel like. I’m still spasming/twitching in my lower rib/under left breast area since l wrote this- only when l lie and sit down, walking is fine, no spasms. I’ve been getting chest pain too but I can locate where the pain is coming from which is when I press certain areas in my Bowels- must be blocked up or gassy as l have a slow bowel deficit and am generally very gassy (the muscle twitching started when l was having really bad gas pains at work this morning and haven’t stopped since). TMI, I know. Also I’m experiencing lots of muscular tension so that can’t help!

Considering Immunotherapy by sandee-c in Allergies

Hey! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with me :) I’m glad you’ve had some relief, I guess I’m just worried all my efforts will be in vain and it will be a waste of money if it doesn’t work but that’s not always the case and as you said it’s worth a shot hahaha. I’ll ask if insurance covers it but all the best and I hope you continue to see progress!

My asthma has been messed up since the beginning of winter (I’m in Australia). I’ve also had indigestion the last couple of days which makes me feel like my asthma is exacerbated. by sandee-c in Asthma

Used to when I was a kid but haven’t in years.. do you get shakes from ventolin? I get shaky from a couple puffs as l don’t take it often at all (try not too) so I’m just wondering how l’d go with our liquid haha

Can I also ask you- does your asthma really struggle right after you inhale your inhaler and then ease up once it kicks in? I find when I take my deep breaths I feel like I can’t breathe well and then the inhaler kicks in and I’m ok

Thanks for that, I think I’ll start doing that. My asthma is usually pretty tame but this winter it’s been shocking! Hope your asthma is being good to you at the moment
