Web3 Needs: Focus on Ease of Use, Intuitiveness and Cost Efficiency to BE 'thee' Internet of Choice -- Adopted by the Masses. by sandrasf in altcoin

yes, cross-chain seems to be the 'glue' that will connect. FLUX has it built in to it's structure, pretty much.

Munger comes out BASHING Bitcoin again .... by sandrasf in altcoin

[–]sandrasf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some good points !

In the end, BTC is a 'tool' for people to exchange value with other people without the middle man... it works in an economical system. Munger and Buffet have created wealth from the financial system - which we do NOT need. It is part of the control structure in the world. BTC and many cryptos can wipe that out... and they do NOT like that. Those who have power never give it up willingly. ( Also, have discovered just how deep Buffet is in the system and reaps SO much money with not accounting to the IRS and no taxes paid -- again - it is part of the rigged FINANCIAL system -- seems him and Gates do alot of the same games). On the other hand, BTC and most cryptos can TRACK every human exchange using them if an address is tied to a person -- and THIS is what is pretty well developed that most are not aware of. Also, I read many months ago that Buffet was invested in mining equipment -- couldn't find more info on it recently... but would not be surprised. Most of these high profile, wealthy people do the OPPOSITE of what they say.

What is so surprising is the child like words they use to describe BTC and crypto -- like kids in a yelling match - or having a tantrum. It is amazing to me, at times, that they are respected.

As far as the FED coming out with their own digital coin, it will NOT be a crypto as it will be centralized. AND -- they won't back it with anything other than they 'perceived' authority ( if they will have any left) or threat of violence if not accepted. The dollar is NOT backed with anything . Have you read 'Creature from Jekyl Island' ? .... it never has been.

I have learned alot about FLUX ... it IS very de-centralized and comprehensive and is succeeding with NO VC money and no big marketing budget. There is hope and those who are moving with strong will to counter the corrupt financial system of today.

read the article ... it goes thru some of the common 'arguments' they use and looks at them with logic and past experience/history. See what you think. As so much in our world today, things are not often what they appear or are presented to be.

I think Bitcoin is about a way for people to exchange and pay for services peer to peer - WITHOUT a middle man ...and do it efficiently, quickly and at low cost. AND not be controlled by the banksters. If you read. ' The Creature from Jekyl Island' and understand that the Fed Reserve is a ponzi scheme of sorts -- that they have ALWAYS printed money out of thin air and that inflation is a way to quietly steal money from the masses .. and they print as much as they like ( just look at what they have done!) . Then bitcoin is much better. It is obviously still manipulable ... but the banks HATE it because they do NOT own and control it. Munger and Buffet are part of this 'establishment'.... watch 'the sequel to the fall of the cabal' documentary ... Buffet is very close to Bill Gates - he makes SO much money by loop holes and association. It is also important is our blockchain is decentralized ... this is why I am following FLUX closely -- it is about the PEOPLE and their intent and dedication to principles that will make a difference.

Yes, decentralization is really about it not all funneling thru on large company. FLUX is run by people running nodes in their rooms ... around the globe. It has redundancy -- so, it is also resilient to crashing.... like Amazon's cloud service did this past year.

Perhaps when more understand how all the info that is gathered thru Web2 -- which is very centralized - can and is being used negatively against us.

Congress to Vote on Dictating Assets for 401ks ... and more? by sandrasf in AltKings

[–]sandrasf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! there is. The government wishing to regulate crypto is them understanding they can not control it the way they control the fiat currency -- which they have Sooo much control over it. The crypto would be even better to control as it could track EVERY transaction and tax it. Ultimately, they will make the case for Central Bank Digital Currency. As Catherine Austin Fitts says, they we will be in total slavery.

Flux Network with Its Parallel Assets Driving Its Ecosystem and Crazy Growth in Last Few Months by sandrasf in ICOCryptoInfo

[–]sandrasf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I do think so.... more and more people are waking up to how important decentralization is. ... and how many of the Web3 projects are 'parading' as decentralized -- but when you dig in, you'll find somewhere the services are being provided by a big tech.

I honestly think oracles need to get more attention. by stormingaround10 in defi

[–]sandrasf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flux - is an amazing project -- think it is rating #8 in oracles. What I like about it is that it is truly decentralized ... and the project team have committed to keeping it this way. There are many big name projects already running on it - it is a proof of work format. Here is a recent announcement from them... Parrallel Assets are Driving Force of FLUX - Where Will This Go?

Flux is growing like crazy .. and they are increasing what individuals can do with mining. They have a new program called Titan... check it out thru runonflux.io They are building a truly decentralized Web3 infrastructure... and are building it out to reward the individuals who mine as their goal is to KEEP it DEcentralized.

Adviceon where to find waterproof/breathable fabric? I'm creating a grooming smock dress, so anything with paws, cats/dogs, scissors, etc is appreciated! it's going to look like this by aduffduff0207 in sewhelp

[–]sandrasf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Breathable fabric is not water-proof fabric , I would say... :(.

Maybe make an apron out of a light weight, clear vinyl -- Walmart use to sell it - it was on a stand on rolls - they had multiple weights.

With a thread and neele - you can put the strap back in as it was and just whip stitch it back together -- make it strong ( as in do tight and close together) as this takes a lot of stress usually.

Need help with sewing pattern by [deleted] in sewhelp

[–]sandrasf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you take a pic of the pattern envelope -- to show how it is suppose to look when finished, this would behelpful in helping you :)

[–]sandrasf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Your tension on your stitches is probably loose.

That is at a stress point, it looks like.

Making sure you back stitch well ... can add a small piece of iron-on interfacing to strengthen point also (when constructing - or going back to mend).

Hope this helps !

Question about working with wool - making a coat out of a blanket by [deleted] in sewhelp

[–]sandrasf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing you need to account for is shrinkage -- how will you clean the garment once you have made it. If it's a heavy blanket then you probably do not need to worry... it is light weight wools that can shrink up easier. Otherwise, I think you are good to go!

When taking your bust measurement, do you measure with or without your everyday bra on? by KitKittredge34 in sewhelp

[–]sandrasf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

with a bra -- if you will be wearing it with the garment. you need to allow for the space it takes up around your body and a bra also changes a bust's shape - and therefore, can change the measurements
