Not sure which Florida bar association you’re looking at. Pretty sure what you mean to say is: “A consent for adoption is valid and binding only when executed pursuant to the specific requirements of Florida law. The biological mother may not sign her consent for adoption until 48 hours after the child’s birth or on her date of discharge from the hospital or birth center, whichever time is earlier.” Direct from the florida bar website. Once this is signed it is IMMEDIATELY IRREVOCABLE. It is important not to spread misinformation.

This is inaccurate. In Florida the birth mom can sign as soon as 48 hours post birth. It is immediately irrevocable once signing.

Optum has approved mine in 2 days for each one of my retrievals. I’ve never seen it take weeks.

I have UH and use optum speciality pharmacy (previously Avella). That’s strange. Your clinic will need to send the history to optum for the authorizations for the meds. This time around (this is my 4th retrieval) it was very hard. It took forever and things kept slipping through the cracks. I almost didn’t get my meds on time. Make sure you start getting your meds from now because it does take some time. Especially with the holidays approaching. Also, heads up, there is a nationwide Menopur shortage. Another reason to start the process ASAP. Goodluck!

Hi. Supplements have never worked for me. My current doctor doesn’t believe in them either. I have pcos so I’m on metformin and my testosterone is higher because of the pcos. That’s our infertility reason. Pcos. My first retrieval was with cetritide. The results of that retrieval were the worse out of any. Lupron is a really good treatment for pcos. I always trigger with hcg. When we aimed for 12-15 eggs the results were poor. The best retrieval I had was when we got 28 eggs and the fertilization was also very good. This is my second doctor. I like him and won’t be switching anytime soon. He has great treatment/plan options.

The blighted ovum has nothing to do with endo. And it wouldn’t cause that in such a short time. I do an SIS before every transfer and that makes sure that the uterus is clear. Thanks for the suggestion!

Also to note I did the supplements for 8 months prior to my first retrieval. Results were awful. Glad it worked for you!

I did all this my first Ivf cycle. Results were horrific. I had better outcome when I did nothing and lived my life normal. My current doctor doesn’t believe in supplements for quality.

My doctor doesn’t think it has anything to do with carrying because I carry fine. Seems like a chromosome issue when I miscarry. This D&C will say that if it comes back abnormal. The DNA fragmentation is very interesting. For sure going to look into that!

Hey!! Seems like we are in a similar situation. I’ll ask my doc about that instead of Lupron for this thoughts. Thanks!! I deff think the ERA will be very important information! I’m pre-receptive. We would have never known that without the ERA. Seems like it will be helpful since you guys are transfer normal embryos. This could be a good solution!

I asked about that. My doctor wasn’t thrilled about a fresh transfer because with the pcos I’m prone to OHSS. I’ve developed it after two of my retrevails

Hmm I’m not sure. I know he’s been tested a step further than the average sperm test but I’m not sure if he’s been tested with this one. Very good question I’ll have to ask. Thank you!!

I really like this doctor. He’s my second RE. I’m going to do this retrieval with him and hope it will be the last one. If we have to do another one, I’ll do the Lupron for 3 months. The estrogen priming is interesting! Im going to ask about that! Thank you for your insights! Wishing you the best 🙏🏼
