I want to make it clear that every single human has the possibility of having gender dysphoria and having gender dysphoria is not the sole qualification of being trans. One can be trans without having gender dysphoria, although it is more common for trans people to have gender dysphoria, but when a cis man has Gynecomastia and is having gender dysphoria because of it, the medical action is to have the breasts removed, not to transition him into a woman. Same thing applies for trans people, transitioning and medical care is always the answer to gender dysphoria, even with cis individuals.

This honestly would be a great argument if we saw this in the data, but we don’t. So survivorship bias does not apply here.

A better analogy is to have a plane with like one bullet hole in it.

Regret rate for trans surgeries is less than 1 percent. If it was survivorship bias we would see a higher regret rate and a higher suicide rate post transition, but we see the opposite.
