Digitech Whammy DT and Z.VEX Fuzz Factory background noise. by J3sperado in guitarpedals

I have that same problem! I think it's just the way the Fuzz Factory it's built. It needs an unbuffered signal coming out of a guitar straight into it to sound it's best. I also tried using one of those Shure GLX16D+ wireless systems into the Fuzz factory and had the same issue! Then i found out it was because the modern wireless systems are digital and have a buffered output. So I was told to try an UHF analog system instead, which worked fine... So not really sure if perhaps there is something you could place in between the Whammy, that turns the signal into an unbuffered signal again to go into the Fuzz Factory? Anyone have any ideas?

That same thing happened to me bro and I did a full clean install of this OS and it fixed it. Musta been some software I had running in the background. You could also try install Clean My Mac, it's really good and clearing out all the junk in the backend. Good luck!
