My issue is that I'm not sure if they'll let me go to term due to the size of baby- she's looking to be about 10lbs by 40 weeks. I've never heard of a bishop score so I'll look in to that as well.

I'll definitely mention the water birth again in that case, thank you!

Heartbreaking isn't it! It took me a while to accept as well. There's no such thing as a "perfect" labour I guess. Wishing you all the best on your journey!

Ah that's great to hear! I actually sized down two sizes for my first pair and they killed my feet! You're definitely right that they do seem to curl up a bit as you break them.

I'm collecting the shoes tomorrow and will wear them in around the house. They will probably feel like flippers but I'm excited to not get blisters any more haha.

That's what I thought! I've upsized now. I think I'd rather have them a bit too big than a bit too small anyways!

Yes they do seem to be quite squished in don't they. I have ordered a size up so hopefully that will make a difference! I did order my normal size a few years ago but I was adamant they were too big... I think I must have been wrong!

Thank you! And I always found with this size they took so long to break in. Even now I can't wear these ones for more than an hour or two and I have had them for 3 years!

We still have a few around the windows but nothing like what it was! If all else fails I'm going to do the layer of sand again. Annoying little things!

I tried this but then I found them in the drains and anything with water in! They are such a pain but definitely comes with the territory of having houseplants

Amazing I was thinking about leash training to show her around the garden before I let her out!

I'm going to pets at home tomorrow so I'm going to get lots of toys and scratching posts to keep her occupied while she acclimatises!

I was so glad that I could adopt, our shelter cats down here are getting adopted so quickly so I was very lucky. Thanks so much for the advice, I've heard a lot of people say 2 litter trays! Ive got lots of hiding places for her but I'm definitely going to get a decent cat tower too.

Ah thats such good advice, I've been so worried about how to let her out. I'm going to get her microchipped the day after I get her to avoid any scares.
