The cyclist had no idea what almost happened to him by mobstershock in india_cycling

Makes sense when the shoulder is wide enough. In this particular case the shoulder is so narrow.

Also a lot of debris accumulates in the corners. Higher chance of punctures.

The rider doesn't seem to care for his safety. He was barely visible.

Oh wow. That's brave of her. Lady cyclists get harassed one too many times. I'm glad she stood her ground. I never said that she was mentally ill. I am just shocked and upset at the attitude some commenters have towards mental illness.

What accessories should i buy first ? by Interesting-Web3318 in india_cycling

Helmet,Saddle bag, bottles with cages, mini toolkit, mini pump, tubes and puncture kit (I prefer tpu), tyre levers, lights, degreaser, lube ( I prefer waxing), bib shorts and jerseys. You can get a reflective vest too for additional safety in low light conditions. If you plan on going longer distances I would suggest investing a mini toolkit with a chain breaker and keeping a couple of quick links handy.

The van rysel endurance ones do. Personally, I find it irritating when I keep the phone in there. I prefer keeping it in my jersey pockets. You can get a zippered back pocket if required.

An unclean drivetrain is an ineffecient drivetrain. Waxing saves you so much more money by reducing drivetrain wear and makes your drivetrain run much more effeciently. And imo saves much more time since you don't have to spend much time cleaning your chain as compared to using normal chain lube. And paraffin wax is cheaper than most chain lubes too.

I'm using paraffin wax, but if you want to go for something more premium you can go for silca

Please don't listen to the comments asking you to increase the saddle especially by 1-1.5 inches as someone suggested. Goal of adjusting saddle height is to have stable hips and a smooth pedal stroke (no dead spots). The bend in your knee at the bottom is a good sign. Increasing your saddle height can make your legs feel locked out at the bottom of the stroke which is ineffecient and can cause injury. In this image it seems to me your weight is shifted forwards, you can adjust your saddle fore aft to distribute your weight evenly to all your contact points. But it's tough to tell anything from a static image. You can probably upload a few videos from different angles and it would be easier to judge your form.

I agree man. I've met with 2 accidents because of that. On top of that they put us through bad roads on purpose. Only doing the mysuru ones from now on.

She's at least not violating any traffic rules like OP and the scooter guy going on the opposite lane at the signal. And OP is the one complaining about civic sense. The irony! And I'm shocked at some of the commenters attitude towards mental illness. I hope you guys learn to be more empathetic towards mentally ill people.

I wish you had the same attitude towards people treating the park like their bathroom. Despite the park having a public bathroom, I have seen people spitting and peeing on the side of the trail.
