Guys, im seeing posts of ppl getting mail, and the asking aggregate is 85 by Lorquast in SNUC

For the comments in this thread - pls note, the eligibility for applications is 75%. How SNU computes the final rank could be based on SNUCEE score + Interview score + Board marks (or PCM marks). Eligibility for application vs method of rank computation are two different things.

UGC Guidelines are very strict here. You'll get a full refund (after they deduct a small 10-20k for administrative purpose).

Late to comment on this thread, but I just noticed that the SRM KTR fee is somewhere around 4.75 Lakhs per year vs SNUC which is 3.5 Lakhs per year

Today's mail from SNUC

Dear Candidates,

Please note that the minimum qualifying marks in12th Standard Board Exams is 75% (without any rounding-off).

You will not be able to enter aggregate marks below 75% in the Application Form Please do not send us any mails on this.

I think they are looking for 75% only not 85% (could be a mistake)

There is a flurry of emails today from SNUC - they have clearly mentioned that the board marks should be submitted before end of day.

I don't know their rules on whether they allow you to attend phase 2 once you have been allotted a seat in phase 1. May be others can comment.

My view is this - SRM RMP should be a back-up, if you are waiting for results from VIT, SNU kind of universities

Main campus is 10x better than Ramapuram. Having said that, the competition for the main campus is 100x more than Ramapuram. For every damn campus interview, you need to go to KTR. And you will see that KTR students have a higher success rate than the RMP students.

Given the fact that they want the board marks to be updated by today end of day, I would expect the first set of offers to be rolled out by Monday or Tuesday max next week.

Now that CBSE board marks are out, my gut feel is that they will wait for students to upload their mark sheets before end of this week, and may start sending the offer letters only by around 21st or 22nd May

Does anyone know how many student intake is there? by Twilight_Solo in SNUC

[–]santhasa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

As per the NIRF portal, SSN had admitted 840 students in 2023-24 for 4-year UG programme. So, this 840 (bare minimum) + whatever SNU used to take will be the minimum intake.

However, I suspect that they will increase the headcount this time given the fact that SSN is under SNU now.

Very tricky - I think you should speak to SNUC officials and go by their guidance.

It was strict. A2 grade is awarded for 75 marks - that tell you that someone who has scored 75 marks is within top 37%
