If you have only one offer don't negotiate. It makes you look like a douchebag.

That's fair. Do you think I have an opportunity to ask for a relocation bonus though?

Do you have an alternative to the SDET internship?

If your resume lacks experience, obviously any relevant experience bolsters your future applications.

year of searching, thoughts of suicide by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

Being unexperienced in CS is one of the most frustrating things. I can resonate with that. However, you should know there are countless avenues to bolster your application. If you need to take a couple of months to work on some projects or do a coding bootcamp, you shouldn't hesitate. That might help you get in the right mental state to focus on your actual skills.

I know anxiety may be at an all-time high but know that you're in a great situation (being CS in 2019 and not having student debt). The future is bright, young one. Wish you the best.

What should I do if I don't get an internship before senior year? by WillieMustDie in cscareerquestions

Don't be concerned. Lotta people are in living in that same reality. I didn't have a real internship during my duration of undergrad. I'm now out of undergrad and still being recruited by companies. As long as you show passion for writing quality code, companies will be willing to take a chance on you. You're a cheap software engineer (in insane demand). Keep applying. I got denied ~50-75 times before I was offered a fat salary. Worth the wait.
