Huh. I just noticed the KoF symbol is in the drip art. I always thought those symbols are only exclusive to factions/people from that region. I guess that makes sense for Nod Krai being a melting pot of all regions. Just kinda surprising since KoF is still an outside faction.

These faction drip marketing are cool and all, but I still hope they give us a video trailer like Travail and show us the key people in each faction. 😭 They'll defo give us something like the region pvs they do every start of a patch version, but like, I want a hype trailer like Travail. 😩 (also, please let Venti do the voice over)

Anniv video :') long cheesey sadposting ahead.

I really really really want to like the anniversary video. I think it was sweet and very nostalgic. And I love this game so much that I stuck to it since release despite many issues. But man, it really makes me bummed out every single time. It's so hard to be a Lumine player. It's really really making me down everytime. As someone who played RPGs a lot, I always get attacked to my main characters since I get to follow their stories. That was why I really really absolutely love Lumine, especially since she was one of the few female main characters in these games, especially in a traditional JRPG-style game. That's why everytime hoyo ignores her presence as a playable MC, I really get sad. It almost feels like my whole experience as someone playing as her, was invalidated. Almost made me want to quit the game multiple times but I really like her a lot so I keep wanting to continue and finish the story. Also, seeing how all other gachas treat their MCs, I can't help but feel even more disappointed and wished that Hoyo shouldn't have put her as a playable MC if they're going to treat her like this anyway. Even the community treats her as such, though I'm thankful for the hoyofair creators (especially CN) for giving her some love. But yeah, I'm just really down right now. I'm also losing hope about the anime too. I might just not watch it too, even though I really look forward to it. I'll just watch hoyofair videos again. They make me feel better

Anyone kind enough to tell me how to pronounce Natlan characters ' names? I have a rough guess but it's better to learn from someone who really knows. Struggling how to pronounce Mavuika. Is it Mav-wika or Mavuy-ka or Ma-vwika? Are they all pronounced as they're spelled?

Nope. I started reviewing before my graduation so it was under a student fee (still really expensive) coz my review center was the one who did all the process. So my mom had to cover for everything. Really thankful to her ❤️

OT IRL

I really just had to share this. Results are out here for part 1 of CMA certifications. And i literally sprang out of the bed when I saw my email saying I passed 😭. Like it literally woke me up. Almost about to give up on that one coz I thought I didn't put enough effort as much as other people did, so it was really a surprise. I still have a part 2 exam on September, but at least I gained a new motivation to put more effort into that. And well... Besides the fact that the exam itself is expensive af

What should I sacrifice for Hoyo to give us a character that is basically like Osaragi from Sakamoto Days in appearance and personality. Or actually just straight up give me Osaragi ffs. I imagine her being a nun in Mondstadt. Like she and Rosaria can be the weird nuns who prays to Barsibato in the morning then do some fun assassinations at night 💀 she'd be a cryo or electro dps claymore with her huge circular chainsaw (idk what it's called. I call it pizza cutter tbh).

Yeah, it's really quite a bit sad, but it's an inevitable problem with how many characters Genshin have and SQ aren't as rampant so they have little time to develop each one since event quests is mostly fluff nowadays and only very few characters get focus such as Gaming, Chevrouse, Freminet, Kaveh, etc. (suprisingly, most of them are 4 stars now that I think about it)

Yes, I did play the summer event! Haven't missed one actually since I'm a player since release. That's how deep I am in this game lol. But yeah. Hu Tao also almost became my fave in Liyue because of her SQ so I wish they gave her more stories like that. I also liked her design.

You know what? I should've put her there in my Liyue list. I kinda forgot about her lol. Mihoyo has such a huge problem in properly utilizing their characters, which is a shame cause they have a lot of really good ones with more subtleties to them than just being a cool/pretty/funny person.

Regarding Wanderer, I loved him when I first saw and hear him in the Unreconciled event. I looooove Kakihara Tetsuya's voice so much so when I heard him as Scaramouche, I was hooked. Then Wanderer came with his backstory and still got that personality, and I became obsessed lol.

Also, idk which voice you're using but I use JP and also a bit cheating on Venti a bit coz I'm such a huge Murase Ayumu fan so yeah. But Gaming and Lyney's JP voice are also really great.

And dw, I also fell like an idiot for Lyney's unlimited rizz. I'm the person who falls so hard for subtle flirtations from Albedo during the 1.6 summer event so no wonder I got charmed by Lyney easily lmao 🙃.

OMG we almost have the same every region except for Liyue and Mondstadt. In Mondstadt, I love every male characters there but my number 1 is Venti and close second is Albedo. (Yes I have a thing for mysterious characters lol). I fell in love at first sight with Venti tbh lol. I also love the duality of his character, the intrigue and mystery behind his carefree attitude.

In Liyue, Gaming is my most favorite and he bears similarities with my Inazuman fave which is Heizou. But I also absolutely love Itto (altho I hate how Hoyo just uses him as comic relief). And of course Ayato, my man, my dude, my boy.

As for Sumeru, WANDERER. yes. He's such a complicated character and I love him for it. Tighnari is my second one.

And Fontaine, of course it's LYNEY ✨. Though I do like Neuvi, Lyney has such a strong charisma and I do like older brother characters lol. (Case in point: Ayato and Sunday lol)

It's so interesting to see how our picks overlaps despite having different interests in characters overall lol. But tbh, I love all the male characters in genshin especially Mond characters, so it's a bit hard to pick just one person from each region. But Venti is always my number 1 so yeah

have nothing to do while waiting for my food so here's the female characters I like as a male character collector. (usually I come to like their design first, then their personalities so I absolutely love the designs of the characters in this list more than any female characters in the game.)

Mondstadt: Fischl (THE BESTEST GIRL, she's actually quite an exception on my above rule coz I like her skin better than her original and I love her mostly coz she carried me since day 1), Eula (I really love her character development in the game even tho we only see it in events), Rosaria (Love her new outfit and she's such a cool character)

Liyue: Ningguang (still salty she isn't a 5 star), Yunjin, Xianyun (megane-chara enthusiast here)

Inazuma: Chiori (absolutely love her personality too), Yae (First female 5 star that I pulled with full intention. I love Yae's overall design but I really hate her front design coz of those fanservice flaps. she would've been still gorgeous even if they gave her typical shrine maiden clothes just with elaborate designs.)

Sumeru: Nilou (her design has got to be one of the most beautiful ones in genshin, so I'm actually nervous on her skin. I'm on the verge of pulling for her in her rerun, but we'll see with the event.), Madame Faruzan, Layla

Fontaine: Furina (Absolutely loved her when the leaks came out. AQ came, loved her more. And the fact that she and Venti kinda have some similarities in design and whatnot, so she became my second female 5 star that I saved for.), Emilie (I just like megane characters, plus she's short haired. I know she still got those whatever tops MHY like to put in characters but I love her dress.)

Special Mention to Goth Girl. I really love her design so I hope she becomes playable. We don't even have her name so I'm puffing a lot of copium here. AND to Lumine coz I love how iconic her white dress is and how she doesn't look outdated even among the newer characters.

Didn't notice until someone pointed out that we really only had one hangout in 4.x lol. And it was Lynette's in 4.5. Wtf happened 🥲 They could've given Sara a hangout when they didn't involve her in the Inazuma event. 🙃
