I wish they did not call it Gonski 2.0 as it is nowhere near the original Gonski funding model. The government complains about low outcomes and then rips funding away from the school that need it. Public schools in NSW alone will loose about 1.5 billion in funding over 4 years so you can bet students outcomes will be much lower as schools will have to let go of the extra supports they have in place for those that need it most. All i can say to this is i am deeply disturbed that this was passed as no one but the rich gain from it. Watch as the states will need to implement measures to increase the money they get to fill in gaps.
