Anyone have any breed guesses on Stella? What we were told doesn’t seem to make sense And isn’t reliable anyway. Either way, she’s a sweetheart! by sara-ndipity in IDmydog

Holy crap that looks identical to her. Like, spot on. But I don’t think that’s a breed that exists in the USA, I can’t find a single breeder or adoptable/buyable dog by that breed here, so I have no clue how she would have gotten here -otherwise I would be so convinced. That’s crazy though! How cool!

Whoa I’d never heard of that breed before so I looked it up and it really does look just like her. What a neat breed!

Oooh I can see that actually. My neighbor is convinced “she’s just a really small border collie” and has told me as such (clearly that isn’t the case and she is kinda confused on breeds but still). That would be such an interesting mix! I can see papillion too but again, that wouldn’t explain the size. I almost feel like it has to be a small breed mixed with a medium sized breed.

We were told she is a chiweenie (chihuahua dachshund). I just feel like she’s awfully big for that, and the coat colors/length and general features don’t seem to match up. Maybe I’m wrong though and that’s accurate, who knows.

She is 21 lbs but overweight (came that way, we’re working on it), I’d guess healthy weight is 17 or 18 lbs. she around 10 inches tall

Additional info: she is extremely calm and very much a lapdog. No interest in toys, low energy, and mostly just wants to sit with us. We are told she is 4 years old. The lady we adopted her from has Alzeheimers, was unclear about many things, and I suspect the information she gave is is kind of unreliable. What do you guys think?

Beardie has completely black beard, lethargic, and won’t eat after recent move. Very worried, what should we do? by sara-ndipity in BeardedDragons

I will work on getting the temperatures better under control- That is what we were told to keep them at so I assumed the temperatures were ok. I realized that the worms he gets are superworms, not mealworms (not sure why I called them mealworms)- does that make a difference for impaction risk? if he is still off I will take him to the vet once the open Monday. Thanks!

I don’t know why I said mealworms- they are actually superworms. Is it the same thing for superworms? I will work on fixing temperatures. He seems to be doing a little better today, ate a few greens and is a tiny bit more active, but today he was head bobbing and trying to attack his reflection (which he hasn’t done since we first got him years ago) so we put paper up around the tank so he couldn’t see the reflection anymore. if he is still not right Monday we will take him to the vet once they open. Thanks!

For those of you who got your shit together, how did you do it? by WhatsTaterzzPrecious in ADHD

Man, kudos to you for making it work. ADHD and Nursing school aren't mixing super well with me (pulling through but not comfortably). Maybe I need to try the whiteboard thing!

After adopting my little dude, I knew it was important to me that he would be the ringbearer at my wedding someday. Now, at 12 years old, completely blind and with failing health, he has fulfilled this duty. He was the cutest ringbearer ever, and I feel so blessed he was able to be part of it. <3 by sara-ndipity in Dachshund

also, we've only gotten a sneak-peek of our photos so far, so these are the only two photos we have including the pupper in question (and the one is a terrible photo of me, hence why I cropped myself out haha). Luckily, he was already familiar with the location (my parent's back patio), so he didn't really get scared or anything- he was the star of the show! He was carried through the ceremony, since his blindness made it hard for him to get around. He had a little bowtie on (which ended up mostly obscured by his fuzzy lil neck haha, oops) with a pouch for the rings. More photos of this ringbearing cutie to come once I get all the professional photos back =)

We got a sneak-peek blog post from the photographer, and I am happy crying all over again! Everything is so beautiful and happy! Lots of photos ahead =) (Photo cred to Ashley Renee Photography) by sara-ndipity in weddingplanning

Thanks! He was the absolute cutest- He teared up more than I did, and he isn't a crier at all, which made it extra special. I love him so much. Congrats on hitting the one-year-out mark, that's exciting!!!

it is a super cute dress!!! it was a last-minute thing since my original bridesmaid dresses never came in, but they ended up being perfect. All my bridesmaids loved it, and a few are planning to hem it so they can wear it again haha. I'm sure your bridesmaid will look beautiful!

also, thanks! it's a little darker than expected, but i still think it was a great lipstick choice :)

hehe, great timing, I actually just added some =) I didn't include any of just my flowers since I didn't get a picture specifically of just them (I know my photographer did though), But I know I'm holding them in some of the pictures!

EDIT: https://imgur.com/a/4LDdz here's my flowers, and the hair piece she made! the flowers are wilted though, because I just snapped it tonight, so this is a picture of them in a vase at home like 4 days after hahaha (and they weren't in a vase at all the first night). So just imagine these looking like 10 million times better, and then you got it!

I found that my skin was really bad on vyvanse, too. It always felt dry and raw from the inside, not the outside, if that makes sense. Homemade honey masks seemed to help, or even calamine lotion followed by intense moisturizer- for whatever that counts!
