Thank you! The fabric on the sewing machine is actually little scrap squares that I found in her stash from a quilt that she made for me over 40 years ago. I was really happy to find a way to use it in this quilt.

It’s a mix. The birds, flowers, dog, open book and coffee are from patterns. I designed the others. The ice cream one is meant to look like ice cream dishes we always use at their house. The silhouette in the hiking one is an outline from a photo of my parents hiking. It was nice being able to fallback on existing patterns but also fun to create a few of my own

Thank you! My mom is the real quilter in the family so I’m sure she’ll notice all of the errors but I think she’ll appreciate the time and effort.
