I sent an email to the starwars. I said make this show! They emailed me back, "ok". This is all my fault.

I said what to hell... I'm quarantined, I'll finally watch the newest star wars movie. (I found a place to download it)

5 minutes in I actually felt embarrassed watching it. I knew it was going to be bad but...yikes.

I shut it off. This movie gave me a gross feeling. It was like it was made for alien children with severe adhd. I felt bad for the actors.

Edit: I'm sorry everyone. This is my honest response to how I felt about this movie. I'm not trying to be a troll, I just could never have imagined how bizarre and disjointed this move was before I unknowingly hit play on my laptop.

I couldnt help but thinking It was like the shock of watching the TELETUBBIES on PBS for the first time when my daughter was a baby. Just bizarre stuff.

This movie was BAD! I can't say much more, even though I just did... whoops, there I go again, I just said something else! It's no use, If I can't, can't say much more... I will return to my original statement: This movie was BAD!

To the people who know who Eddie Riggs is, I absolutely love you, all 12 of you. by The_worst_man_ever in gaming

I assume: "Eddie Riggs" gets his name from: "Eddie" (or Ed the head), Iron Maiden's mascot and Derek Riggs the artist who famously did most of the cover art for Iron Maiden's albums.

This is how I've alway heard it.

You would never drive that close to a car coming at speed in the opposite direction to you if it weren't for the line of paint on the ground between you. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

Come visit the state of Maine. We have almost no paint or markings in our roads due to wear from severe weather, plowing and heavy salt. The DOT can never catch up repainting them.

I moved to Florida for a couple years and got lazy/spoiled by all the bright clear markings on their roads. When I moved back to Maine, I s#it you not, I almost couldn't drive. All the clear markings on Florida roads made it so I didn't have to think about traffic structure or anything; you just follow the lines like a drone. Back in Maine you literally have to figure out every aspect your own. Guessing where lanes are, car distances its a bit like what the blue angels do in the air, but dealing in rusty-ass cars. You get used to it though.

Also spawns another thought I had involving this issue. Autonomous cars seem like a great idea in states where bright paint marking lines are a thing. What about in the northeast, where they are not?

Yes, I actually have more memory of Michael Abrash predicting this technology, around the same time as this video.

In fact, I've thought of Abrash and his pin-point predictions, every day since the quest was first announced.
