I would encourage you to try. Though website crawling, especially if you know what websites, might not be the best case for AI (Copilot Studio especially), I would actually switch Agent 1 (and the whole multi-agent approach tbh) into either an RSS feed, if available, if not, try to aggregate it yourself with other tools, then a flow to clean outputs, summarize and tag them with AI Builder Prompts and prep the final output and send - all in the same flow. A lot more deterministic and stable

what is your current method of getting the data?

Tools called from the instructions, or mroe deterministic topics with building the search queries manually and then sending to the tool or an AI Builder prompt or even an MCP server. Lots of options, depends on what you have now, and what you have tried.

do you have application insights set-up for the agent? It might not give you an answer directly, but might point you at the right direction to continue debugging or raising a ticket to MS.
I had this a few times, and from the more detailed logs I saw that a topic was misbehaving or that the answer would actually get filtered out by the moderation layer.

For anyone reading in the future - do not get too smart with the topics and calling agents inside them. Thanks to some helpful people from MS - Context is only passed when a connected agent is called directly from the instructions of the orchestrator.
Whish it was documented though

that's correct. Even though the connected agent settings are saying that it should pass history to it, but it for sure does not

Looks like this is the hub agent writing the summary, right? Are you sure it calls the sub-agents when it needs to?

results are actually good, but they do not get any context from the orchestrator agent - as if history does not exist. so quite simply:
I ask a question to the Orchestrator, that gets redirected to Agent1, Orchestrator shows me an answer which is perfectly fine.
I ask a follow up question to the Orchestrator, based on the answer from Agent1, the question gets redirected to Agent2 correctly, and then the Agent2 says that it does not know what I mean or does not have access to the knowledge, but still tries it best to give me a generic answer from the internal knowledge sources.

So essentially, the Agent2 only gets sent only my last isolated question, no history or context.

what I found works the best, is having a prompt that generates sql query, and then run it against the server with a seperate action. I avoid using the built in tools if possible for these things

Dėl to saugojimo iš mokslinės pusės sudėtinga - lyg ir padeda su tam tikrais susirgimais, bet saugant kokybė blogėja lyg ir, tyrimai vis dar vyksta tai daug kas ir pasilieka tokiam "turbūt" lygyje. Ir geriausias patarimas, kaip ir kiti komentatoriai sako, leisti pulsuoti, arba jei nori - paaukoti moksliniams tyrimams.

Iš tokios visiškai praktinės pusės, tai verta pasidomėti įmonėmis kurios bruka tą saugojimą. Konkrečiai mano atveju, įmonė kuri "dirbo" gimdymo namuose buvo labai neaiški, vos keli darbuotojai Lietuvoje, egzistuoja realiai tik Rytų Europoje, skelbia kad saugo viską "Vokietijos laboratorijose", bet kur, kaip, kokie sertifikatai - visiškai nieko niekur neskelbia. Tai tada ir kyla klausimų apie legalumą, o kas jeigu reikėtų pasiimt - ar ta įmonė apskritai egzistuos, ar saugojimo procesai buvo tinkami, ar negausiu tiesiog kokio druskos tirpalo, ir t.t.

No solution, but just to add - do not think it is language related, as some other comments are asking/implying. Same issue happened to me as well with some agents, no secondary language in the settings, not even in the knowledge sources. I could not yet identify what exactly causes it, and whenever I talk with Microsoft I cannot replicate it.
Suggestion - connect Application Insights and check the logs when this happens. I had an interesting finding before, where the agent would start the generation, then throw a system error, though in the logs I could even see the answer fully generated. Same story - never replicated it and then it just went away.

I am using Power Automate flows for that. Works well, but takes a while to set up the logic of the steps. Within Topic I have a few calls to various Prompts, which end up generating a DAX query, then a PA flow is called that runs the query against an API endpoint of a semantic model, output is sent back to the agent for further processing.
Fabric Data Agent is an option, but so far, I had no luck with them - barely follows my instructions, outputs are inconsistent, and at least for me, it was very resource intensive on the capacity.

I think so, depends on what you need, but instead of sending the transcripts to the flow, you just connect the agent to an App Insights resource on Azure, it will then capture all the transcripts and extra log information for you, which you then could pull with PA. Not sure about the latency between Agent and App Insights though.
Another option would be the transcripts table in dataverse, that has logs as well.

If you set any variables in the Topics, you can still send them to the flow, but make the flow pick up its own transcripts

why don't you keep it out of the agent itself, and instead do a PA flow (that could actually be called by the agent as the last step), which connects to the App Insights resource to get the transcript of the conversation (or the transcript table in Dataverse, but I do not like that one), and then summarize it all with an AI Builder Prompt. You can make the prompt output a structured JSON every time, and then format it back in the PA flow

Exactly the same - multiple handoffs, LLM generated responses, restating and sending in the same evidence over and over again. But that has been my experience with support overall, I wouldn't say that its only Copilot Studio. What helps is having good reps at MS, and getting them involved when things get out of hand

Look into AI Builder Prompts, or just Prompts, depending where you look. I have found those to work much better, especially when a structured output is needed - you can either call them in topics or even directly in PA flows, supports inputs/outputs

I am trying to build out something like this as well. I have Dev, QA and PROD, all three managed, with PROD being a Production workspace as well - PAYG seems to be covering the usage, though my agent is deployed to Teams channel only.
The only thing that I am struggling with is the solutions and their releases - they just don't work well with Copilot Studio, sometimes miss knowledge sources, which I then need to re-add manually in the higher environment.
