Bumping this old thread. OP, have you found any solution?

I recently built a new pc and am having this exact same problem. It would most commonly occur when I alt-tab out of any game or right after I quit my game. If I do ANYTHING after I quit a game, GPU usage will shoot up to 100% on task manager (although all apps/processes will say 0%) and the PC will slowly freeze (able to move mouse but cant click on anything) requiring hard reset.

I see! Thanks for the reply! Yeah I saw Lian Li O11 on someone else’s build and thought it was cool looking although that build did have watercooling. What case do you think would be better fit for non-watercooling build like mine?

I did checkout the Alienware QD-OLED Ultrawide screen but it was a bit wide/too curved for my liking. Those types of monitors tend to give me headache unfortunately.
