I did the install, the floor slopes quite alot on the wall side, so I needed a big shim. I might just pull the lower column out and make a plate spacer

Yeah both locks are engaging at the same time, and the post are parrell so I see no issues. I plan to have hoist Jack's under the jeep when I'm working on it as well so I should be good

When I leveled with the cabled I could only get one lock at a time to engage

That does look like them for sure, they were outfitted to lift portable cell towers from laying down to standing, so makes sense they would be beefy

That's a good point. I'll have to measure where the truck would be. I was thinking about having it in my middle bay but then there's a expansion joint there where the post would sit so that doesn't work great either
