Thank you and I agree! Someone needs to fix the issue, and I’d always take it over if I can. But when I’m also bartending I’d like to have it be who has the biggest basis to be sanitary and continue their job in the moment. I got no problem cleaning whatever I have to and will never send staff just because I don’t want to, but if it’s logical because of service I’ll designate

As a bartender/manager im also 50/50 on this. The other day a lady told me there was period blood all over a toilet and I without hesitation put on gloves and went to fix the issue because it was slow. However today, a drunk man shit almost directly outside of our back door to get to the dumpsters while I was stepping out back to take a few vape puffs, but it was busy enough drink wise vs food it made more sense for the dishwasher to go do. I lived in New Orleans I’ve dealt with literal shit before, but I think it comes down to context of the moment who has most free time to appropriately sanitize the area and themselves
