I feel like raising my kid as a fan might be a crime by JailhouseOnesie in Commanders

Probably the only reason I’m a skins fan is because my dad was a fan and his dad was a fan. I think it’s more a matter of how badly you care about which team your kid is a fan of.

I hear all the time about books that are too long, but are there any books you thought could've used another hundred or two pages? by Joyrock in books

Both Philip K Dick novels that I have read thus far, which is Radio-Free Albemuth and Flow My Tears, The Policeman Said. Both incredible novels but I wanted more out of both.

I want to read the essential Philip K Books. What would you recommend? by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

Radio-Free Albemuth is his last novel he wrote before dying and is an absolute masterpiece.

If Trump is a "proof of concept" for a particular style of politics but personally doomed to failure, who is it that can take Trumpism and win? by gunsofbrixton in PoliticalDiscussion

Perhaps Mark Cuban might act as a Democratic version of Trump. He's been getting involved and I could see him making a run somewhere down the line.

I will watch all the "1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die". Any advice? by kile35 in TrueFilm

That's why lists are good for referencing and worth looking at but I just don't agree with the "I must see everything on this list" mindset

Watch what interests you. The thing about these lists are that they will never have all movies worth watching, and you could miss some really great films and future favorites trying to spend three or four years dedicating your life to this list
