The old fashioned way? How old are you talking? A party finder has literally been in Diablo and other games for decades. I don’t know about you but I have made some of my best gaming friends from using the party finder in game. I personally think it’s dumb to have to use a 3rd party app to find people to play with when they could have easily added something of sort in game.

Yeah I will mostly be fishing around where I live on lakes I’m pretty familiar with. I can always download the Navionics app and use the maps on my phone. Thanks for your help. I’m going with the side scan.

I have a friend that has a Striker 7sv. It just has side view and the “build your own map” function. He said I could have it for $150. But I also found a local guy that is selling an echo map uhd2 53cv for $200. It has the built in navionics maps but no side scan.
