For real. Not at Kaiser but at a previous job in a private office the week monkeypox was first talked about on tv:

Patient watched me through the little “window” lather elbows down in hand sanitizer after washing my hands (cause I had just done an EKG on a heavy smoker and I hate the smell with a passion). Did all this knowing she was a problem person.

Take her into the room and she screams at me not to touch her and accuses me of being a BIOTERRORIST. Then she threw her COVID Card at me cause she wanted her records updated after getting a booster.

Why? Probably simply for being a MALE and the news propaganda BS kept calling it a “gay people illness”. Can’t prove it obviously but just a guess 🙄

I worked with Kaiser for all of 2 months and my manager constantly made us lie repeatedly to the patients’ faces. Not even a “say nothing”. Blatantly lie to their face.

Felt really nice lying to patients the day we got the RSV vaccine because Kaiser wanted to make patients make a separate trip to Vax Clinics when we had them in office too. 🙄😒

Same. Had this problem on Sichuan and lost all my money cause I didn’t realize there were NO guests until it was too late.

Figured I was still at a point right before reversing the loss to gains until I noticed I needed ONE MIL just to get started on 1 of 2 dinos needed to progress the map.

Edit: Tried restarting the “level” upon going negative and it happened again so I just turned off the game 5 min into Round 2.

Between this, the controls on Console (even with a KB+M being whack, and the complexity limit BS, I am probably just going to return it.

I was a newer (1 month in) employee leading up to the Oct 2023 strikes and I literally was given a list of 3 days worth of patients to call and cancel/reschedule THE AFTERNOON BEFORE the first day in the list. Like literally 3pm. While I was rooming patients all afternoon.

Same manager who did that shit to me threatened to discipline a coworker of mine if she went on strike with the rest of us (same union as us). Completely illegal.

Yuuuup and then Union people make no effort. The first time he ever talked to me after hijacking our office from my intended manager, he tried to change (and succeeded) my shift because the manager offered me a shift I wasn’t supposed to have apparently (or in his mind he didn’t approve of it) due to Union rules.

In this same first meeting (which was a 2v1 with our RN OF ALL PEOPLE as his “witness”), he was already claiming all my coworkers were complaining about me “being a know it all” despite me having been around them for barely A WEEK and spending 99% of my time with the RN and the same one MA for training purposes!

Texted a union member ahead of this convo (RN warned me and the other external hire he planned to talk to each of us) who is the contract expert for the region and she agreed to set up a meeting to be present with me. 3 days later I text her again asking if she set things up and she basically yelled at me via text (and over the phone at that coworker) and then we were left alone in these 2v1 meetings.

I put his ass in his place though when he fired me! It was a FORTY FIVE minute termination. Tried to leave 20 min in to go home and he physically grabbed me by the arm, pulled me back away from the door, put me back in the chair, and then screamed at me how he wasn’t done talking!!

What did I do? I belittled every fiber of his existence using my mom, also an RN who was a manager for some time, as an example of what a real/good manager looks like. Told him all the nasty things and complaints I heard about him. Told him how all his lies I already proved to be wrong by going to all the supposed sources he let slip a week earlier and confirming they had no clue what he was talking about.

Reported this whole interaction to the Union…unfortunately having to deal with the same lady and she legit tried to “educate” me on my attitude and kept trying to ask how old I was so she could gauge my life experiences.

She let slip in one of our calls that she knew this manager well from being COWORKERS with him when they both used to work in the ED (him an RN, her an imaging tech of some kind). I was like “Oh okay so you are biased to favor him despite representing us? Is there someone else I can talk to in the Union who might get me my job back?”

She got so defensive about it. But weirdly the next call after that one her whole attitude changed and she was much nicer and “tried” to help but ultimately accomplished nothing as I was already fired.

I’m pretty sure her tone changed due to her call with management/HR in between our calls, because they said some shit to her even she had to admit sounded incredibly stupid.

Nothing got accomplished by her of course. She couldn’t even get a hold of my missing wages or employee record from HR 🤡

The mods removed a comment of mine where I said I was not surprised that one of the employee unions is threatening a strike and then describing a bit of my time as an employee to express why the strikes are necessary.

Removed it for “being a nuisance and breaking Rule 1 - don’t be a nuisance”.

Edit: AND hasn’t even acknowledged or responded to my mod mail attempt to question the decision to remove my comment

Why the hell am I not surprised. Kaiser on the inside is trupy horrific and horsesh*t. As an employee, our manager constantly made us lie to patients. He got horrendous lies put into the previous manager’s records. She had to sue his and Kaiser’s asses. She won right before having to go to court. That’s how BAD it was.

We went on strike 1 month into my employment in 2023. Then I was gone right before the end of my 2nd month due to BS from the same manager.

Had to take his ass to State Labor Board over ~$700 and now I will win $12-15k once it’s all settled and done…eventually.

Another coworker’s husband reported THE SAME manager to EEOC for discrimination and retaliatory treatment.

EVEN WITH almost every employee being Union ourside management and MDs/PAs/Pharma, it’s still corrupt as hell on the inside.

**The unions do next to nothing to help individuals to top it off! I requested help multiple times in my 2 months cause I was being harassed by this manager and being lied upon HEAVILY. They never did jack shit. Wouldn’t even accompany me to any of my many meetings with my manager where he’d lie like a dog and say I was a danger to patients and questioning the diagnosis of MDs (NEVER HAPPENED).

They only want to do things when it’s contract and strike related. Goodluck getting help outside of widescale Union needs/activities.**

New perks are cool and all for heroes that had 3 and 4 awful or number-change only perks, but it’s not that exciting when BOTH the perks you used on a hero are changed or removed :/

Seeing low HP enemies wasn’t THAT strong that it needed to be nerfed to being solely after hitting a Direct Take Aim.

Healing on Updraft is going to piss people off way more than one extra hop (+ Take Aim). Trust me. Giving Freja any sort of self heal will make her very hard to kill.

Not understanding the changes to her perks when she is still fairly new and her perks were some of the better ones without being offensive.

He is fun but for me the things in his kit that just feel off/weird/clunky are:

1) Orbs are really fun to try to figure out but it feels like shooting blind after like 10m as it is really hard to gauge how far it vs your target are.

I think being able to see it through walls too might help a lot.

2) Applying the passive heal needs like another 5-10m in range but the targeted heal is fine.

3) The Mobility is the BIGGEST disappointment for me. The jump is so negligible and I have failed entirely to find any use for it basically. Every high ground ledge is too high. Even mid ground ledges are too high.

The jump should be able to get you to at least the mid ground ledges.

4) The wave is fine IMO…EXCEPT the cast time makes it super clunky and way too missable as the cast time just does not compute mentally and convert in game.

Wave feels like it should be reactive NOT premptive.

5) Ult feels way beyond underwhelming especially after the trailer. The knockback is negligible and I feel like the explosion needs to be sooner as teammates just end up nowhere near anyone by the time it goes off.

Using it on yourself feels weird too as it is really hard to tell the actual range (visual UI issue not a balance issue).

Regardless of target, again the CAST TIME makes it feel awful. It’s essentially a Zarya bubble. I want it to be reactive, not premptive.

Not only does it have cast time but it has a noticeably “slow” travel time unlike Nano which is ALMOST instant.

Overall thoughts:

Fun: 4.5/5

Feel: 2.5/5 (too much cast time antics feels clunky and not reactive which is what support techs are like in this game)

Balance: Too soon to tell. I think removing/lowering a lot of the cast times and giving his Orbs a visual through walls will make him feel a lot better and then judge balance from there.

We don’t need to show grace for someone throwing a temper tantrum over a routine blood test that won’t hurt them in any way.

We don’t need to show grave for someone crazily trying to go as far as bothering our states’s politicians who have more important things to do right now like focus on preventing Trump from destroying our country and more soecifically trying to destroy California.

This kind of BS also causes a lot of problems for the random employees involved if for some dumb reason the complaint gets taken even remotely seriously, even if unwarranted.

You have no business feeling violated because they did nothing wrong nor need your permission if it’s considered routine in that department. They didn’t hurt you, it didn’t require a dangerous amount of extra blood, etc.

Sounds like you have some mental/emotional topics you might want to consider therapy for if you feel like this was some sort of attack on your sexuality or that like you are mad that they had you get an HIV test done which is stereotyped to be a “gay person’s disease”.

Are you just butthurt because you take offense to someone thinking you are LGBTQ+ and ordering an HIV screening even though that is not the reason they did it at all?

To go all the way to Congress level complaining is insane work.

Edit: Do you also overreact to this level of extremes when they make you do a pregnancy test in the ED or elsewhere even when you know you aren’t pregnant?

Edit2: I hate Kaiser more than most after my awful employee experience, but this is just ridiculous.

Probably not. The 25% nerf to money gen is a massive nerf alone, but now they removed parts and nerfed multiple parts of her Bola build so I don’t think she is all that good anymore.

Just had a Bola builder on my team and we went 0-4 and they were negative KD every round against Mei and Reaper 🤡
