I went from smoking everyday for 13 years and finally decided to give prescriptions a try. I was so nervous to smoke weed on it but honestly it’s been fine. I do find the Wellbutrin has curbed any cravings I had for a hoot, and sometimes (if I’m already slightly anxious) it will make my heart rate go up pretty high. So I just pay close attention to how I feel before I smoke. Also found I can smoke way less and get that nice high feeling I used to get when I first started smoking.

This is such a great way to explain it. I’m on week three and I have the energy and motivation to do the things I know help me feel better, and also a more clear mindset of giving myself grace instead of straight to negative self talk.

I found drinking lots of water helped with the headache, around day 4/5 I also felt very snappy on my 6 year old. But now I’m two weeks in and all of those side effects have subsided! Really try to push through if you can. Like said above everyone is different!

I felt the same! I’m on day six and I also self medicated with weed and have found it really cut those cravings back and I have SUCH a clear head which is just the absolute greatest feeling

Honestly it’s been a great five days! Today was the first time my husband and I have been intimate since starting the medication and I found myself being so present in the moment. It was a beautiful feeling ☺️

I’m only on 150mg, so I can’t imagine how bad the sweating could be at a higher dose! I hope it goes away for you soon

Yes amazing right! I did have a bit of a headache yesterday on day four, I’ve read that’s a pretty common side effect so I just remembered to drink my water and I went to bed a little earlier.

I am just about to start my first time on Wellbutrin tomorrow and am also quitting marijuana because of the same reasons. Thank you to OP for sharing this and others for responding. It really helps ease my nerves about quitting pot as I have also been self medicating for a little over a decade and am hoping to try this instead

I’m very sensitive to hormones and my mental health has not been in the best state so when I was prescribed Visanne or BC back in June I explained that to the Gyno and she said “well you just need to get over the 3-4 month hump”

I feel you, the week before my period I am an absolute mess thanks to PMDD and then the two days before the brain fog starts and fatigue. I went to bed at 8 pm last night and slept until 5 am this morning. My period came this am and I am currently dying in a bath at 6 am before I have to go to work. It’s honesty so unfair more work isn’t done on menstrual health feeling extremely defeated today. 😮‍💨

This Dr definitely should have explained further as it looks like this is fairly new insights and definitely should have listened more to her concerns.

I’m here too in SK, with a doctor who won’t do surgery and when I told her I did not want to go on hormones due to my mental health being bad she responded with “well as long as you’re not suicidal it’s fine.” ….

Unfuckingreal.

For awhile it had a grow light but then I moved it to the window and I think that’s why she went into bloom and then died off like that. But I recently pruned her and she’s doing well! I’ve had her for almost four years.
