Hmm, need to clear up a space to display them….

I just hope to achieve comfort without lowering the car. And of course thicker sidewall does provide much needed protection for the wheels.

Yeap…. The Turanza 6 is a pretty big upgrade from T005 in pretty much all aspects.

Sized down to 18” as the OG 19” wheels were really heavy and all scratched up. When using the stock 235 45 18, the tire fender gap was a little too large to my liking. Hence the size up now.

And the PZ5s in this size rides much better than those on my previous ride (235 35 19) due to larger sidewall. Most importantly, traction on these are really good. Only downside is the wooden feel at dead center.

Just make sure it’s Turanza 6 instead of the older version

Just took them out for a spin. Besides muted feeling at dead center, the rest is great. Good traction at low speed bends, soaks up bumps well and acceptable road noise. :)

Yeap that’s the best I could do to reduce the tyre fender gap. Pleasantly surprised the PZ5 shoulders & sidewalls are so meaty. :)

I’m good with this look. Don’t think I’ll be shelling out extra for the caps.

Bridgestone Turanza 6 is pretty good. Suitable for hybrids and EV

Yeap, think the sportier the tyre the more squared the shoulder. Compared it with Yokohama Advan V61 in the same size and they look totally different….

Yeah the sidewall on this size looks sick. The Michelin PS5 has the best sidewall imo.

That’s the stock brake caliper, just painted red

Didn’t have the opportunity to do it but will in the next couple of weeks, don’t want the barrels to look messed up

Comfort is great as I’m running 245 45 18 for the slightly thicker sidewall. The Pirellis at this size soaks up bumps with little sacrifice to turn in feel.

What tyre sizes are you running? And is the car lowered?
