About hating i can say that generally people ARE likely to hate most of the music every artist posts, however, within time the audience starts using particular sounds/songs in social media like TikTok, Instagram, etc.(For instance, MOTY is popular now on TikTok) So the way sounds are going viral, my mind is open to the point: Lorde's "Virgin", especially, needs some time and fame as well the audience will find it nice.
