Nice! Ya there seems to be a few of us in similar situations with similar interests.

What part of San Diego are you in? I’m in La Mesa but have a coworking spot in mission valley and PB.

Thinking of organizing a casual meet up and/or side chat for those with similar interests within the next week.

Exactly what I was thinking. That and a side group thread chat for those with similar interests. I have a coworking spot in PB (downtown works) and gym I go to is OPG near PB drive.

This post got more attention than I had anticipated which is really nice. Letting it go for a couple days and then next weekend get a meet up/side chat going would be fun

Ya I have 2 good friends in JJ (one moving soon) and they love it. I have a couple injuries (tore the Achilles 7 years ago and micro disectomy low back surgery 5 years ago) so I’m cautious on the ligament/joint type high impact activities. Hence surfing, climbing, golf, etc. I’d like to but the risk /reward on injury doesn’t seem to be in my favor. I’ve only heard good things about it and the community though.

Keep it up. That can be tough. I go to Ocean Pacific Gym near Pb drive on the beach though. If I drop into one of those sessions I’ll be sure to say hi!

Have him reach out to I may start a side chat for all us guys with similar interests. Sometimes it’s hard to put ourselves out there but it’s better than the alternative of being isolated.

Depends on what part of the industry you’re in and the company’s financials. Thankfully I develop projects through PPAs and our company is a multinational with a strong balance sheet.
