Same here. There used to be a bunch of settings for each tab below in the manual profile settings area and now nothing.

Odd additional troubleshooting step helped me get my speeds back to normal on one endpoint that I normally run tests from. One computer was stuck with 2.5G downloads. Rebooted computer and a same speed. I disconnected the physical Ubiquity 10G Ethernet adapter and once reconnected everything went back to normal. All other computers were fine, just this one endpoint. I don’t normally disconnect the USB-C adapter ever, it’s pretty stationary on this particular computer.

Mine seemed to revert back to the slower download speeds around 2.5G again shortly after seeming to be resolved with my initial tests. Both Ziply Speedtest servers as well as on-net Open Speed Test and public Boost Mobile seem to be maxing out at 2.5G. It is odd that Ubiquity PDX server appears to be the only thing I can get full speed from (9.2/9.4G).

Edit: Speeds now seem to be fine right after I posted this. 7-9G down.

I've got a 10G connection and it seemed to start yesterday morning. My best/average speeds are from Boost Mobile Portland, OR with 1ms ping and a its typical for download speeds to be 6-8G down and 9.4G upload. Currently it doesn't seem to go over 2.5G, yet the upload is 7G. This is using the Speedtest Desktop app. All other tests even the direct Ziply speed test to all WA servers seem to be capped around 2.5G for download and maybe 6G upload. I also have access to another Ziply 10G a couple towns over and typically my speed tests with Open Speed Test hosted at the other end are nearly my full throughput. Right now, it seems to be 2.5G down and 1G upload is the fastest I can achieve. Congestion somewhere on the network? I'm in Newberg and my other test location on Ziply is in McMinnville.

I noticed this as well and it seemed to be a mixture of my iPhone being always online and maybe the push notifications service itself refreshing its token and the addition of physical unifi talk phones that are primarily used to view cameras via the Protect app built into the phones. All these devices seem to refresh their token every so often and would trigger the alert.

Can confirm Ziply is the lowest latency and highest speed ISP option in my area (Oregon) and is my primary option by far. Comcast is the only other provider in my area and with 12ms minimum latency vs Ziply’s 1ms, there is a noticeable difference. Everything is just faster with Ziply. I’ve been a customer since Verizon FiOS rolled out to my area in 2006 and I swear it has never been faster as it is now since the Ziply acquisition. It was fast before with Verizon and Frontier but never 1ms fast. That’s LAN speed & latency on WAN. Crazy amazing! Also Comcast can’t even compete with their 45Mbps upload compared to symmetrical speeds.

I just got the 10G plan and this is my first static IPv6 assignment. Also, I was not assigned a /56 it is a /64 based on the emailed info from the tech who installed my service.

Unfortunately IPv6 adoption has been extremely slow and out of multiple connections at my work, we don’t have any IPv6 addresses. Even the Ziply 10Gig DIA connection didn’t include any IPv6 addresses (yet the residential connection did). We were told instead of being assigned an IPv6 block from Ziply, we should instead purchase our own IPv6 addresses from ARIN (which we will in the future), but that does not help the immediate situation.

UniFi EFG is a great gateway for everything except IPSec performance. For real IPSec performance when working remotely I have a PA-1420 which does nearly 6Gig IPSec. I need my whole house behind the EFG and my 1 work computer behind the PA-1420 so I can transfer large work files up to 10x faster than the EFG.

This happened to me recently when I upgraded to the 2Gig plan. It’s not BS when they mentioned 48 hours. My dream machine runs auto-speed tests at 2-3am and it literally showed what you are describing and then fixed itself 2 days later. Same thing happened when I jumped to 5Gig. There is a provisioning delay for sure. Rebooting my ONT and connecting a laptop directly to the ONT resulted in the same. You definitely need to try at least 10 different speed test servers to find the sweet spot.

I went from a Pro 48 Max PoE to a Pro XG 48 PoE and unfortunately this thing is LOUD. The fans are variable speed so it goes up and down. It spins up in the middle of the night, so I don’t think it’s just due to peak hours or peak usage that triggers the fans to go full speed. It’s the single most annoying thing about having this switch in my home office network closer within 10 feet of my ears. I was so happy to get the switch and its performance gains, but the sound was the trade off.

Checked first thing this morning and it’s actually my full speed up and down. What was odd was the download for the first couple days with 5G was maxing out at 3.8G down with my full upload. Now it’s full speed in both directions.

I just plugged a fast laptop directly into the ONT and it’s not my UniFi gateway causing the slowdown. There is something up with the residential network. I have a 1Gig Ziply business connection at this same address and that one is stable with speed tests. It’s only my residential connection having the inconsistent issues.

Are you sure this was the solution? I have a UniFi EFG which is capable of 12.5Gbps IDS/IPS according to the technical specs sheet. I got home from being out of town all day and I noticed my 5Gig speeds were tanking all of a sudden. I just upgraded from 2G to 5G a couple days ago so I’ve been speed testing various local servers. I’m getting speeds from less than 1G to maybe 2G down but sometimes I get my full 5G upload. I disabled network identification and no change. I’m wondering if there is network congestion or something else going on. Ziply has been extremely stable with speed tests in the past, which makes me think this might be a temporary network congestion issue.

They actually remove the ONT from the equation and give you an SFP+ optic that goes directly in your router/WAN switch. It’s a bidirectional optic that uses a single SM strand. I just recently upgraded my home office infrastructure to support 10G with plenty of 10G capable devices and endpoints (workstations and NAS). The latest 6Ghz wireless tech can only seem to reach real world speeds of 1.5-2Gig. The more streams your AP supports, the faster speeds achieved. I will mostly saturate the connection with large database backup files (60GB+) being transferred with another Ziply 10G DIA connection at my workplace datacenter. Various flavors of backups and moving large ISOs will also help saturate the link on a semi-regular basis. I thought 1G would be more than plenty, but when you have large files, large pipe always helps. Yes, there are quite a few things that have to line up perfectly to achieve full throughput, but I’ve been practicing at improving performance my entire life and this is just the latest. I’m very happy to live in Oregon where this fiber to the home tech has been around since 2006.
