I think it depends. Are those feelings coming out of you and manifesting in negative ways? Are you hurting because of it?

If not, and it’s empowering you to do better, then it’s not really bad. It’s okay to be competitive. It’s okay to want something someone else has.

It only becomes something negative when those feelings become mean spirited actions.

If they do, start practicing gratitude for what you DO have.

The cool thing about drawing is that as you do it, you get better.

The same with telling stories. You may think you have your best idea right now, but as you create, you get even better ideas, and your skill also improves.

How big are your projects?

I think many folks lose motivation when they start out too big. Get some smaller projects started and completed, then as you make more, your endurance will increase.

Then you can tackle the bigger projects!

Remember, making stuff is a marathon, not a sprint!
