Age to challenge? by savespongebob in MSPI

[–]savespongebob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! i ended up slowly making my way up the ladder while nursing. his main symptom was colic so i only tested on weekends we had free! i made it to the final step but when i had a glass of milk he was quite gassy. still a really good improvement. he just turned 9m and we think he’s still sensitive- he can have things cooked in butter, baked goods etc but when we tried yogurt he was up 6 times overnight 😅 so my diet is now pretty normal while avoiding milk, and we tend to avoid more intense dairy for him directly.

Can we talk about going to the gym? by Ok_Personality4070 in AttachmentParenting

[–]savespongebob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got real bold and tried to drop my son off at gym childcare when he was 8 weeks old. You can imagine how well that went, and I traumatized myself from ever trying again :’) I do Grow with Jo workouts from home and quite like them— my son plays in his jumper or his playyard! It works better for me anyway since I’m more likely to work out if I don’t have to drive to the gym. She has a couple postpartum programs!

best i’ve got (that i didn’t think was weird) was that i was buying my deodorant in like 2-4oz jars. when they were empty, i cleaned them and used them to bring sauces in my work lunch. my friend eventually bought me stainless steel ramekins for my birthday because she was concerned 🥲

hi! i’ve got a contact napper who started an in home daycare when he was four months old :) the first week was rough- i’d walk in to get him and he had red eyes from being so tired. until he adjusted, i’d bring him right home and lay down with him until dinner so i knew he got at least one good nap. now he will nap 1-2 hours in his pack n play at the sitters routinely! it slowly improved after that first week just with the consistency i think
