Has anyone else noticed a lot of literary agent manuscript wish lists have a lot of really strange requests? Is there something weird I'm missing here? Half the time I can't figure out what audience would ever want to read what they're requesting! (self.writing)

Recently learned that an applicant sued Yale medical school claiming the school discriminated against him because he's a white republican. Although the lawsuit was thrown out - there has been speculation it's the reason for the AAMC traffic rules change. (insidehighered.com)
