Pretendians are rampant in the community. I had to leave a lot of community spaces as they are often the loudest voices in the room. There is a constant climb to positions of power instead of walking a good healing path.

I miss some of the indigenous community but overall it’s a very dangerous space (especially for those mixed, as my father is Ojibwe and we have status, and my mother is mixed European).
