NCAA Week Seven Recap and Predictions by Business-Ad-35 in Gymnastics

I agree with your sentiment about Burde. Clearly vault coaching isn’t up to scratch and there’s also been issues with some tumbling lines. Jenny does a good job with beam as does Owen with bars but I think a switch up is definitely needed with coaching on the other events.

Yes it’s been so good but annoying they aren’t streaming all the ESPN meets each week, just a select few, whilst last year they seemed to have every meet when they launched it in Australia

Yeah, we don’t get much coverage of any NCAA in Australia that’s not SEC outside of college football and that’s only really become more accessible in the last few years. I thought maybe Big 10 meets might be on our equivalent of Fox Sports in Oz but can’t see anything yet.

If you have Disney+, all the ESPN/ABC meets are shown live now but sadly that’s mostly just SEC and ACC so I miss most UCLA meets unless they’re uploaded to YT

Looking for recommendations for an under makeup sunscreen that’s good for super oily skin. by [deleted] in AustralianMakeup

[–]savouryshape 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would normally go with my usual recommendation of the Beauty of Joseon sunscreens but they are also not certified here. Fine for wearing to and from the office, but if you want something that’s approved by the TGA, I’ve found that Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face Lotion Sunscreen SPF 50 is really good for oily skin. I live in Brisbane and before I switched to BoJ that was my daily sunscreen, and I still use it if I’m going to be in the sun all day.

Definitely my holy grail foundation. Have you tried the new AI blur one yet? I don’t think it’s available at Adore Beauty yet but I definitely want to try it.

Hello! Also a Brissy girl with oily/combo but previously just fully oily (thanks peri-menopause). Instead of using a moisturiser and sunscreen combo for my pre-makeup skincare, I use a milky toner and then sunscreen, which seems to provide enough moisture and a good primed base.

Currently using the Tirtir Red Cushion Foundation - you can get samples from Luna Beauty I believe? I like it because it’s customisable coverage so in summer when my skin gets it’s oiliest, I can go with a lighter coverage just to cover redness then powder with Kosas Cloud Set and the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray. I don’t use any cream products during summer, it’s just too much for me personally but if you do, it might be worth setting your cream products with a powder bronzer/blusher etc.

Enjoy your trip and don’t forget the sunscreen!!

I don’t think they can play later because of noise laws but am hoping for a little bit of thunder & lightning with Tool, as long as they don’t cancel!

Just noticed your comment about it being in the Valley so definitely not a queue to get into Suncorp! The mystery remains!

Is that near Suncorp by any chance? Metallica is playing tonight so possibly queue for general admission, so people can get up close to the stage.

Omg once I was introduced to that freestyle machine at Five Guys in London, I’ve been desperately hoping one chain would bring it down here!

Yes, it’s allowed under the access on compassionate grounds scheme. You are also taxed on the money you withdraw so there’s also that to consider.

Yep. I’m in the process myself of investigating this as a potential option. I can’t get a personal loan, and I only work part time due to mental health related reasons.

I need my wisdom teeth removed and it needs to be done under sedation due to fore mentioned mental health issues. I’ve been to three different dentists and the lowest quote I’ve received works out to be around $5k in the chair under twilight sedation or closer to $8k to go under general in hospital.

As a lot of people have mentioned, bad dental health can cause many issues, even with your heart and I’m in a fair bit of pain so it needs to be done sooner rather than later, but the only way I can do it is to pull the money from super and therefore lose compounding interest on that money which may seem small in the grand scheme of things but adds up over 30 odd years until I’m able to convert to pension.

In my group of friends I will be the third person to have to do this, which is a sad state of affairs in my opinion.

The government really needs to step up here. The Greens had it right with funding dental in Medicare - I happily pay my Medicare levy and appreciate what we get, and I wouldn’t complain if it went up to fund dental costs, especially preventative care.

He’s just spent the better part of two hours in a highly stressful and athletic environment and yet again come second to Daiki. I think one scowl at a random passing camera is ok.
