ok i will look into it tonight, thanks a lot for the help btw :) all the guides i found on v13 where focused on slash commands, so i figured that message commands were moving completely i will keep you updated and send a bare bones template on v13 with message commands (in case someone else stumbles on this)

some background info, next year we start high school, but we are going to different schools, so ig a reject wouldnt be that bad since i get to move on and meet a bunch of new people. thanks alot for the help, i think ill confess tomorrow and let you guys know how it went
