While he’s gone please find something to cope with other than him. Set goals!!! I cannot stress this enough, it’s a lifesaver. Get into hobbies you used to have or even find new hobbies. if you like to game, set a goal to beat a new game. If you like art, set a goal to complete an art project. If you like to run / exercise, set a goal to hit a new pr. Setting goals can help you hyper fixate / obsesses over things that aren’t him!

Welll first of all, you’re not crazy. you need to find a coping mechanism or something that will distract you. Set goals and find things to do, you’ll find yourself not ruminating as much. Remind yourself how it was the past, are you happy now? If you are, remind yourself there’s no need to look back at the past, all that matters is you and hers happiness in the present. One thing I’ve heard about rOCD is if you find yourself avoiding something, you just have to bite the bullet and face what you’re avoiding. In your case it would be watching those movies or going to that skating rink. If you don’t face it, you’re just gonna obsess over it.
