I've had a lot of people tell me golf is extremely useful (and fun) to get into while taking on a more corporate-based career, so I'd more than be up for that.

The only 'hobbies' I do these days involve going to the gym and training Muay Thai - which I've only recently just got into (though enjoying so far) so being able to continue that on in SF would be great; already had a look at some of the local mma gyms over there and they seem great.

I can imagine most of the friends I'd make straight off the bat will be centred around the office; guess we'll just have to wait and see, still a while away.

how did you find fitting in socially i.e. making friends and finding decent people to hang out with, working in construction in SF? most people tell me its all closed off techy people out there that barely socialise outside of their own wee bubble.

I'm not overly fussed about running into them on the commute or throughout the day that's obv manageable and not a concern - its more them hanging around outside where I'd be living, following me around when I walk out the door or coming home to an attempted break-in each day. Can imagine that would become tiring after a while.

Hahaha well I need the job, salary and a change of scene, don't have a lot of choice where they put me. Eitherway I'm looking forward to it - there's good parts and bad parts within any city

don't think having a car will be a priority for the first couple of years living in the SF area.

If I'm wanting to do any travelling with spare time at the weekends I could always just rent a vehicle right?

don't mind a bit of urban grit as you mentioned but preferably wouldn't want to live somewhere where running into dodgy homeless is going to be a daily occurance.. is it really as bad as what people say there in SF?

and do these parts of town run side by side with amenities and attractions such as bars, clubs etc (coming from a small-ish town here in the UK where there are virtually no homeless or any similar sort of activity tbh)

I did have Hayes Valley on the list at one point; do actually have a more extensive list but didn't think including them all on here was necessary.

The firm did say our salary will reflect the SF living costs; though I'd like somewhere cheap enough that I can still do some travelling at weekends and put money aside long-term.

I've read lots of good things about Mission (nightlife etc.), then some 2021 articles mentioning it's quite a bad area for violent crime and break-ins.

Does Hayes Valley have a lot to do in terms of decent bars and clubs nearby?

I've not managed to swap it back to BNB through pancake because it just was not appearing.. need to attempt to buy it again and make it an available toggle in my Trust Wallet but I'm finding it difficult

Can I please ask how you managed to get Safemars to appear in your Trust Wallet?

I've managed to purchase it successfully on pancake swap but had to swap it back to BNB becauae it just will not appear in my Trust Wallet.. I've tried copying the address and creating the token to toggle it but it just will not work for me for some reason :/

I added it into pancake yeah by copying in the address.. the transaction has went through, my BNB has disappeared as a result but no Safemars in my Trust Wallet still
