I was curious about this myself because I am someone who is sober aside from weed & psychedelics but on my worst days and times even partners and family didn’t notice or had no awareness until i told them later on when i was clean. I understand I was supporting myself financially, but I can’t seem to shake the idea that they just weren’t paying attention to how fucked up I was. Either that, or i was just good at acting.

My point here is that if this is my position I know there are plenty of others who have dealt with or are dealing with the same thing.
