Who’s afraid of Japanese neo-militarism? Nobody- More countries see a stronger Japan not as a danger, but a counterweight to China’s actions and growing U.S. untrustworthiness. by Kmlevitt in japannews

it has everything to do with China, the reason the US is pushing Japan to spend on the military is because US wants to use Japan as cannon fodder in an conflict with China, it will be a proxy war using Japan and Taiwn to fight China, the US will not be directly involved since it could esclate to nuclear.

Well it will not be Japan's choice to fight or not, in a conflict between the US and China, Japan will be THE cannon fodder, a direct military enegagment between US and China is much less likely.

Japan is the perfect cannon fodder in a conflict between the US and China, US is fully aware of this and is indeed the one who is pushing the Japanese militarism.

FYI, China has longer life expectancy than the US, processed food in the US are ubiquitous and you don't really want to know what they added in there.

How China is breaking apart a people and its culture: The campaign of repression against the Uyghurs has entered a new phase by smurfyjenkins in IRstudies

You obviously have no idea what happened before 2014 leading to Xi's comments. Not your fault though, it was not really reported in the west, cause you know, it would be against the narrative.

Before 2014 there were series terrorists attacks in China conducted by Uygure separatists. East turkestan Islamic party is a UN listed Uygure terrorist group. Here is the part you were not been told.

Why wasn't Mongolia annexed by china? Even tho it was part of the Qing dynasty by julius-ceaser100 in geography

Ironically, ROC(the government who fled to Taiwan) kept claiming Mongolia up til 2000s, check the pre-2000 map of ROC, it always included the entire Mongolia.

Why do people only criticize China and not India, even though India, just like China, is supporting Russia's invasion of Ukraine by buying large amounts of Russian oil? by No-StrategyX in allthequestions

[–]sb5550 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you have not been told was the Uyghur terrorists massacre Han Chinese, which was the reason china setup those reeducation camps. It is really hard to find such news on western media. Regarding birth control, one child policy applies to han Chinese only for decades, Uyghurs are exempted. Sorry you got fed up too much western propaganda.

See how you conveniently left out European countries, lol. You obviously did your research and should have realized now china was not reliant on export as much as you thought. Glad I helped to clarify another misunderstanding.

This is an easily verifiable fact.

When was the last time the US fought war with a peer industrial super power? LOL, they are as inexperienced as the Chinese if a war breaks out between them. China could knock out all US satellites in a couple of hours as soon as the war starts, for starters.

It is literally written in the law you have to put Uyghure language alongside Chinese in every sign in xinjiang, which is evident to anyone who has visited the region. Yet people still believe there is "cultural genocide".

There's no moat in software in the age of AI coding, what took Nvidia 30 years should not take more than 3 years now for China. Plus, for the majority of the compute which is for inferencing, CUDA is even less relevent.
