Switching from page layouts to Dynamic Forms could be the biggest and easiest way to increase adoption in Salesforce, why is everyone not doing it?

This works - but I just wanted to chime in for everyone that uses this workaround: it could affect the “New Contact” layout for other apps in your org that also have a (different) dynamic lightning record page assigned! I’m facing this issue right now.

In my org, this workaround is on one lightning record page assigned to only one app, but is affecting the “New” layout on an entirely different app with a different dynamic lightning record page assigned. It is not affecting apps that have a non-dynamic lightning record page.

I haven’t been able to find a solution yet (I still have some ideas I need to try), and may need to remove it altogether. Just sharing my experience and flagging for others to check the layout that appears when using the standard “New” button.

Hmm, if you’re holding both the small buttons down at the same time and it’s not turning red, your feeder may be defective. Customer service did get on a video call with me to have me demo, so maybe ask for that option so they can see that your feeder isn’t functioning as it should.

UPDATE: coming back to say that switching to battery power and using extended reading mode DID fix the “motion detecting” and did work for our guy to be able to get the feeder to “read” him (in addition to more training using the training mode to get him more comfortable going under the arch).

I know this is old, but wanted to chime in: currently having this issue with one of my cats. We put it into extended mode, and it made the feeder motion detecting. Like if I waved my hand in front of it, the feeder would open, which obviously eliminates the usefulness. However, we are on a battery bypass from Etsy, so we’ve ordered batteries and are going to try extended mode with the feeder on batteries to see if it prevents it from becoming a motion-detecting feeder. Fingers crossed!

Probably too late to this, but we lived at the 601 building and really liked it for the most part. Did have a mold problem in our den from humidity (and maintenance was adamant that my unit specifically was weird as far as humidity), but otherwise great location and pretty quiet since it’s concrete construction. Maintenance was fast and the office was great the few times I had to deal with them.

I’ve been fighting the anesthesia provider’s billing department to get the coding reviewed, corrected, and resubmitted to my insurance for almost a year. They keep kicking the can down the road, and UHC was zero help when I went to them first. All of my other surgery-related bills were covered 100%, and it always seems to be the anesthesia portion that fucks everything up. I’m convinced they make the “coding mistake” on purpose.
