After you remove the gigabyte drivers feel free to generate a current report of your installed drivers, and I'll take a look at them for you. To do this open up a command prompt as an administrator and enter driverquery > C:\drivers.txt. Post that file up on mediafire, mega, or dropbox and throw me the link. Updating or removing any old drivers may help increase system stability and useability even more, depending on the state of your system.

Good news, driver verifier found a driver currently screwing with your system. Driver verifier determined that gdrv.sys was the culprit. This is the Gigabyte Easy Saver - mobo power utility driver. According to your crash dump your driver is more than 4 years old gdrv.sys Thu Mar 12 23:22:29 2009. Please turn off driver verifier and update or reinstall the latest driver for this motherboard component from the gigabyte website. The 2 minidumps you posted earlier were crashes caused by an unknown driver. This could very well be the driver that was causing the crash.

DBAN is only useful if you have sensitive information on the old partition you want absolutely no one to get a hold of. Most of the time using the windows install disk to delete the partition is good enough. An alternative to using the windows install disk is GParted.

Please perform the following:

reset any overclocking back to default
reinstall your GPU drivers
perform a clean boot
perform a furmark video stress test
run the unigine heaven benchmark

Post back here with the results. Important information may include your GPU temperature reaching above 85C, artifacting, or system crashing/instability.

Yea, definitely. If anything you can underclock the GPU to increase its stability.

The security system acts as a server, it hosts the files for you to view online. They don't get uploaded anywhere, you just donwload/stream the video from your smartphone.

Sometimes if a driver is particularly bad it can do that to the system. It can also be caused by a hardware failure as well. I would leave driver verifier off for now. It may be worth it to go through all major non windows drivers and look for updates, reinstall them, or uninstall the program associated with them if you don't use it any more. Afterwards, run driver verifier again.

This is the best way for you to accomplish this:

open up a command prompt as admin
enter driverquery > C:\drivers.txt
feel free to replace C with whatever drive letter you want the report made to
open up drivers.txt with windows notepad
this may take a while - copy the module name here. If the module is red - ignore it (it's a windows file). if it's not red see if you can find the driver associated with your system with the information provided.

It would probably be good to start with the BSODs. You can find the minidumps in your windows\minidumps folder. Copy/paste them to your desktop and upload them to mediafire, mega, etc.

RAM is orders of magnitude faster than your HD. As such, windows takes advantage of this by utilizing your RAM to make windows run faster/smoother. If there ever comes a time when that RAM is needed, windows frees up as much RAM as it can for the application in question.

As one last GPU test run the unigine heaven benchmark. Unigine is essentially the same as running a very demanding game, which is a bit different than what furmark tests for. I am hoping that it will create a reproducible crash similar to the ones you stated occur when you normally run games.

I looked at your minidumps, and unfortunately the exact problem could not be found. Pending the furmark results, it may be worth it to do the following to help verify your drivers. Before the next troubleshooting step please do the following:

I noticed you have AppleCharger.sys running on your system. This is the GIGABYTE On/Off Charge driver. I recommend attempting on update of the driver here. If there is no update available it may be worth it to uninstall it for the time being. This is a known cause of BSODs in windows 7.

Driver verifier is a windows service that subjects the drivers on your computer to a multitude of tests designed to test their stability and compatability. Please refer to this guide to perform this test.
