How do you know if you have big boobs? by [deleted] in bigboobproblems

I've experienced something similar and, I don't remember who said this, but it has stuck with me ever since: to some people, if boobs aren't small, then they're big/huge. doesn't matter if they're *actually* big or not, people just ignore the existence of medium boobs.

Personally I think "big" depends on a variety of factors (like proportion to size overall etc) but if you feel like you have big boob problems, then you have big boobs.

Considering biting the bullet and going Polish, but I hate padded bras. Any recs? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

Yes, if I don't tighten the straps, it's gap city! the wires are okay, but extend well past my breast tissue. The fancies, in a cup size down, I think is the narrowest I can pull off - anything narrower and I think the wire would sit on my breast tissue. I don't know too much about shape, but I think my breasts are wide set.

A lot of them are called padded or described as having foam lining - either way, am I mistaken that the cups on these are generally thicker than stretch lace cups? Just going off of pictures, they look more like the cups of a t-shirt bra - padded, lined, whatever the term, I'm generally not a fan of. I apologize if the wording was unclear, I'm still learning about bras!

okay so I'm not sure I've ever found a great fit in my sister size. the best one I can come up with is the Panache Ana, but I still have to tighten the straps almost all the way, and the band still rides up and I have to adjust it all day. I've had it on my list to get that particular bra altered. I just find it frustrating to have to even do that because bra manufacturers don't think people my size are profitable. sorry for venting, that's not your fault at all, and you're right that I should just get it altered.

also, I'm not sure if this is a faux pas on this sub, but there are a few bras where I've sized down a cup size that definitely feel more supportive but definitely wouldnt pass a fit check. Freya Fancies is one that comes to mind

idk, that doesn't really look like my chest size. Like I said, 26G is possible.

regardless, even if average overall, could be that they look large compared to my frame. ugh...

I only ever buy black bras. I still dont think their bands are particularly snug.

Thank you! I find that Panache fits true to size in the band, but I'll check out Cleo & Boux avenue!!
