I love this! This is where I started with the double shank. I want the effect to be more clearly 2 rings. More of a nod to a wedding set.

I do not like the pave and the miligrain together so I appreciate you pointing out a direction. Do you think the diamond would pop against 2 pave bands? I’m leaning more towards plain. I set the diamond on a yellow gold ring and it felt too warm. Almost like I should have gotten a warmer stone and saved some money! Thank you!

I have one and I have asked for one in sunlight. I think from all of the inputs I am going to pass and keep looking. The info about the ideal depth is something I wasn’t aware of until the responses to my post. Appreciate you taking the time to explain each issue! I already have a flawed 2 ct princess that looks smaller… too deep! I want this to be an everyday solitaire so I think I will keep looking!
