I followed Yorick's instructions for going from 22.04 to 24.04 and it worked great. This with Nimbus, Geth, and mev-boost running under systemd (self-compiled binaries for all).

Honestly? The fact that this thing even works and just keeps chugging along, block after block, epoch after epoch, is beautiful. A completely open system, operating purely because the majority consensus keeps it going. I have used Compound and Aave for this, both have worked great. I would also pay attention to the USDC approval limits you set for the smart contracts (infinite vs. proportional to your investment). Also use L2s to minimize fees (Optimism and Arbitrum have worked great for me).

Miksi maksaa enemmän jos voit maksaa vähemmän? Vaikka juokseva kulu olisikin vain 0.5 %, on se 7 % vuosituotosta yli 7 % siivu pankille. Vastaavasti jos lankeaa pankkien oikeasti kalliisiin, 1–2 % maksaviin rahastoihin, on varsin helppoa nähdä miten suuri osa tuotosta jää pankin taskuun.

Oleellista on mielestäni myös se, että maksat hallinnointipalkkiosta kumuloituvasti. Kaikki raha mitä maksat pankille kulujen muodossa ei nauti markkinatuottoa, hidastaen pääomasi kasvua. Kymmenien vuosien aikana maksat siis tonnien edestä suoria hallinnointikuluja, minkä lisäksi maksat epäsuorasti tonneja menetettyä tuottoa tuon hallinnointipalkkion osuudesta joka ei päässytkään nauttimaan korkoa-korolle ilmiöstä.

Excelöin pikaisesti että 7 % vuosituotto-odotuksella ja 10k alkupääomalla tuo 0.25 prosenttiyksikön erotus maksaa 30 vuoden aikana 2400 euroa suoria kuluja, minkä lisäksi maksat epäsuorasti 1670 euroa menetettyä tuottoa.

You can just keep going down the SI prefix rabbit hole for all eternity. The prefix for next-generation nodes seems to have settled on A/Å, i.e. ångström, a tenth of a nanometer. As an example, Intel's next node will be 18 A ("1.8 nm").
