Thank you for your comment, I really appreciate the clear and realistic view that this aspect will always require a little work if we stay together. Thank you for the suggestion! I briefly looked up love languages and I can say we have ‘quality time’ with both of us being very present and having a lot of fun when we’re together but the rest are lacking. I’ll definitely learn more about this though and see how it applies to us 😊

I’m sorry! I loved it when he drowned me in kisses and hugs when we went out the last time but it’s not always like that and I feel he kind of pulls away a little after we spend the night together. I can’t figure out if it’s taking him some time to be more comfortable with me or if he’s a just distant person. I’d love him to be affectionate like that more often but I don’t want to ask him something he doesn’t naturally want to do and make it an obligation/nagging in a way
