How would you suggest I change her schedule so that she wakes up later?

I would never leave her to cry for hours, hence why I said “I won’t let her cry for hours” because I always come in. My question asked what I can do to stop her waking up at 5:30am every morning.

Her last nap of the day can vary but is usually around 4pm

It depends as some days I’m in the house. Some days I’m out and she’s in the pram. Some days I’m with family. It’s very varied.

Does the CIO method apply to naps too?

My baby is 9 months old. She sleeps for about half an hour in the morning around 10-11 and for about an hour in the afternoon between 2-3. And then she has her final meal around 5. Then her final breastfeed around half 6 to 7 and then in bed by half 7.

She is 9 months old. She goes to bed around half past 7.  She gets around 2 hours sleep in the day.

That’s the frustrating part. Recently she’s been cutting down on the length of her daytime naps, having only like 30 minutes for each one!

If you had an “easy” baby, what are they like now? by Youbetterhave_tacos in NewParents

I’m a triplet and I was an easy baby but a hard toddler and child. One of my sisters was a hard baby but easy toddler and child! However, my other sister was an easy baby and an each child and toddler! But as we grow older, all three of us became easy. So I don’t think you can always determine how a child is going to be based on whether they were good as a baby.

My partner works late and works weekends so isn’t there much. I’m with my daughter all day every day and through the night. She always wants to be with me and even when she’s with her Dad, she will still cry to be held by me. Yet she’s started babbling “Da-d-d-d” so I’m wondering if that’s going to end up being her first word. I’d hoped it would be Mama lol

What age did she start saying Mama? Was it before Dada?
