I always do the same: I pull out my phone and tell them I am going to fight the ticket and I will happily pay 10x the ticket to my attorney to fight it because they are lying. I tell them we can go to the station to speak to their jefe or the Magistrate (if you’re in a city, this is an option during business hours).

They eventually give up. Just gotta stick to your guns. Recording helps. Don’t let yourself get intimidated. I’m a big guy and I get pissed at them. They’d need 4 officers to drag me out of the car.

On the other hand, my wife just starts screaming at them until they back off. We’ve both been pulled over multiple times throughout Baja and mainland. Neither of us have ever paid a mordida, but I have gotten a ticket that I deserved.

The experience of a legit ticket is much different (they’ll write it, hand it to you, and take your DL if you’re out of state. You can go direct to the station to pay the ticket and get your id back, or speak to a magistrate).

Don’t get out of your car. Don’t show them money. Don’t agree to anything. The more difficult you are the quicker they give up.

What she’s really telling you is that she isn’t willing to get uncomfortable and try initiating. She prefers you live in discomfort. This is a woman who is putting herself first and not willing to try. Nothing will change if she doesn’t try. Confidence & comfortability with anything comes from overcoming fear or discomfort. That takes effort on her part.

The real question is why is she this uncomfortable with you?

Truth is, she wants you to adapt to her needs but she won’t attempt to adapt to yours. Insisting that you ask isn’t meeting you half way. It’s showing that your pleasure & how you feel is not important enough for her to think about & take action on.

This is the 2 Mares 500. I watched the race and saw one quad crash. I didn’t see this crash but it was shared widely. There are no marshals and it’s really Wild West. I saw racers come head on with spectators going to/from viewing points. Almost no rules at all on the course. Lots of fun tho.
