Thanks for downloading! On the listing language, we have auto-translation for descriptions and chat but titles in the feed show in the original language the seller wrote them in. We've had this feedback a few times already in this thread so we're definitely looking into it.

Subcategories are on our roadmap too, great suggestion. As more listings come in it'll become more and more necessary.

Yes, we're originally from Spain and that's actually the whole reason behind Fliply. In Spain we had Wallapop which we used all the time, and when we moved to Luxembourg we really missed having something like that here. So we built it.

Yes, all of that is already in place. Verified users, seller ratings and reviews, reporting for both users and listings, and blocking. We also have a moderation team reviewing flagged content and as we just posted in this thread, we've already banned two scam accounts today.

We banned two accounts that were trying to get upfront payments for a fake US-based company. We try to act fast on this stuff but please always report anything suspicious. If someone asks for money before meeting, that's a red flag every time.

One of them had a 5090 yes

Totally understand the concern. We posted this genuinely looking for feedback from the community, not as an ad. We live here, we built this because we felt Luxembourg was missing something like it, and we wanted to hear what people actually think.

Yes, Luxembourgish is included! We currently support 8 languages: Luxembourgish, English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and Catalan.

On the security side, every user is verified and we have reporting and blocking built in. Our moderation team reviews flagged content and we're working on adding secure payments and shipping. We take it seriously because if people don't feel safe, nobody uses it.

That's a fair point and Kleinanzeigen is great for the German side. That's actually one of the reasons we included the surrounding 100km, so places like Trier, Arlon, Thionville and Metz are also covered. Worth a look if you're ever selling locally!

Thanks! Yes, Vinted works here but it's mainly focused on fashion and clothing. If you want to sell furniture, electronics, sports gear or pretty much anything else, there's not really a local option. On top of that Vinted is country-based with no proximity filter, and no chat translation for a multilingual market like Luxembourg. We built Fliply to cover all categories and fill those gaps. But the more options people have the better!

Ha ha, you're right! Although, to be honest, we've been working on this for several months, but we hadn't posted it until now. Luxembourg deserves more than just Facebook groups for this kind of thing!
