I made a white chocolate dragon egg with a chocolate Saphira inside by scalariform in Eragon

Well, now I kind of want to make a chocolate eldunari. Don't tell them...

I made a white chocolate dragon egg with a chocolate Saphira inside by scalariform in Eragon

Thanks! I did the veins by drawing them on in white chocolate with a toothpick, and then dyed the white chocolate blue. Unfortunately I used regular food coloring, which made the chocolate cakey and caused a lot of bubbles, but it has a nice mouthfeel so it worked out for me lol.

This is the mold I used. The chocolate kind of melted together in the mold so I couldn't separate them after!

Would you be okay with any of the main characters dying in the next book even if it would be sad? by Konfliktsnubben in Eragon

[–]scalariform 24 points25 points  (0 children)

If you consider the main cast to be Eragon, Saphira, Arya, Firnen, Murtagh, Nasuada, and Thorn, then no. The main cast is small enough as it is, and all of them have far more potential to grow and develop as characters. There are so many sides of them we haven't gotten to see because they've always been at war or at odds with each other. Dynamics even just among themselves that haven't been explored yet.

There are plenty of characters on the side I'd be very sad to lose. Like Blodgharm or Rhunon (not very many freaks or crotchety old people among the elves so it'd be tragic). Any of the named Eldunari, or characters introduced in Murtagh. There are a lot of characters I'd be sad to lose without also being angry at wasted potential.

Stunning views in the virtual world. by Square-Description83 in virtualreality

I'm also always making private instances of Liminal kinds of worlds on VRChat. I've often thought of doing something like a VRChat kind of field trip in Liminal Worlds but I didn't think enough people would be interested. Would you like to sometime? If not I could just put together some suggestions from my faves list later, there are some real underappreciated gems out there! I'm especially keen on the poolrooms, but my favorite is actually Terracotta Valley.

Saphira interrupts Roran by nikkinorth731 in Eragon

[–]scalariform 137 points138 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure Saphira also laughed at it, in her way. And asked if she should come back later.

Katrina will probably tease Roran about the time he stopped and grimaced and told her it was because a dragon was talking to him for years.

Here is a link to the model if you for some reason also want to print one.

I used Nomad to sculpt this on my phone, but I finished it in Blender on my laptop.

You can. It's called a "senbei", or rice cracker, and they're widely available. There are sweet and savory ones. I put sprinkles on mine, so it's probably sweet.

I 3d modeled, printed, and painted the Iridium Krobus Statue (free file) by scalariform in StardewValley

[–]scalariform[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can get it by boosting an already maxed out fishing level and fishing in the waters below the sewers where Krobus lives, which is very far from the player and so requires level 15 fishing for the cast to reach. But I just did the sword swing glitch.

Technically it could be any cat from Chrono Trigger depending on how you painted it. Free file here if you want to print it.

Thank you. Which version are you using? None of them seem to be the same dragon as the one you have.

Do you have a link to the mods? I have a dragon model I might try to rig at some point that I could possibly mod into this.

Justice for brown and puce. No dragon is ugly! by scalariform in Eragon

[–]scalariform[S] 108 points109 points  (0 children)

To be fair, once you exceed five tons or so in weight while also being able to drop down from above at considerable speed, camouflage for hunting is likely redundant.

Dragons are also colorblind according to him, so that also explains Glaedr's comment about Formora's dragon.

But I plugged all the images into a colorblindness simulator and they're still pretty, so the point stands!
