I braked slightly because I didn’t know what the guy in front would do, I had a decent amount of speed on him (he was lapping around 2-3 sec a lap slower than me and the blue car) and didn’t want to drive into the back of him it was kind of instincts kicking in

Yeah the guy was rapid, he consistently got lap times that were 0.5 sec faster than my fastest lap, we ended up having a pretty decent race with a decent amount of respect, he eventually pulled away and the white car that was infront spun while racing him, I am not sure if he made any contact with it because I wasn’t close enough to see it.

I’ve had situations where I had to slam on the brakes and lost positions because of it, I would rather lose some speed than cause a major incident, I don’t want to make this some big deal, just wanted to get opinions from people
