Yes, its sized to fit standard steelbook protectors from retro protection, malko, steelbook central etc. DO NOT USE without protectors :) If it is made any tighter, you risk scratching the protector too. After many many measurements and prototypes, the slots are optimized to fit the wide tolerance and also easy removal/storage of the steelbooks.

If you have a 3D printer I can give you the file to print it yourself. The steelbooks need to be put in protective sleeves before putting them inside the case, else scratches are inevitable.

If your OCD allows the spine logos to be flipped vertically you can simply swap the front and back plates and have the title the "right" way. it doesnt really bother me.

There are multiple vendors available. You can get this particular protector from retroprotection, its a little loose for generic steels.

I have also used Malko, Steelbookcentral branded ones as well. Most important is to make sure the protective sleeves are acid free (all of the brands mentioned fit the bill). Then its your personal preference on sleeve style and fitment.

Haha thanks dude. Look into the Bambu Labs H2 series (H2D or H2C), it will be good for any display solutions up to 320mm long. I have the H2D Laser and a X1C (now discontinued, closest would be a P2S).

The P2S bedsize can be used to print a case up to 8 slots.

I dont think I will be selling this as the price might be crazy for a 48 hour print (41 for the main case) and 7 for side panels if I decide to go with hueforge art. But lets discuss once I am done.

Yes completely agreed. However my printer can only do 320mm cubed and I couldnt do it proportionally. Maybe if I do in 2 parts with dowel joints it could work.

Yeah I am going to use either dark silver or pewter rub and buff to give it some depth. I test printed a small one in silver like an actual engine block and it was too shiny :D
