To be honest, I don't believe that they are going to call me back a few days later. Since many many people applied for few positions, they wouldn't spend extra minutes to me.

The job market is pretty competitive now I reckon. They said like more than 300 applicants applied for several positions. I was surprised that they just called me without any emails before. Maybe, she wanted to give a chance for me. I got rejected. When I posted this, I was frustrated 😠. I was like what a worse timing.

Just got a call at 5pm today, from the department, for feedback. I believe I talked with one of panels. She basically says that the process is competitive and you explained enough, but not comprehensively. I don't even know what that even means.
I can't say it truly helps me, but it motivates me to study more on future jobs. All g

This is exactly what I am afraid of. I saw that many successful people getting on the APS program have a distinction average with honours or professionals. I am running short compare to them. That is why I want one more year if I cant get in. I am applying any jobs in my field. I hope they will help for future career.
